If you can run a game, you can run a hack, it does not take special hardware to do it.

Edited by BungyGoBrr: 11/7/2019 8:54:13 PMYes because someone with quite basic knowledge of computers knows how to hack, You're probably over there with a ryzen this or that laughing in your boxers
-
You had software running that hooks into your PCs memory, which has the capability to read it or modify it. As mentioned in their ban policy, you’re not allowed to do that. You agreed to that policy by logging into the game. Next time, don’t do that.
-
Thats the problem i did nothing
-
The security staff disagrees and they are the final say. Be grateful you got a response as they are not obligated to do so. They have logging and data that hits their servers. This is a live service game, so they are able to track that. It has nothing to do with a decades old processor or anything like that. You had a program that was trying to access Destiny 2. That’s not allowed. Period.
-
So now it's my companion app? Jesus this is quite disturbing
-
PC companion apps are silly little gimmicks, at best. You don’t need live stat tracking on your PC. If you have Windows 10, that’s built into the OS, and you can access the Game Dashboard at any time to see general performance information. It’s not disturbing. They don’t want outside applications touching their game. I don’t know why you find that disturbing. I find that to be a good policy.
-
They dont want an companion app that allows you to access your vault from orbit? access your items on other characters to send them to your other characters? then why are they still a thing
-
Third party sites that manage your inventory don’t get you banned. So that’s not it.
-
Crazy because at this point if it isnt that its either spotify or discord, funny
-
It could also be a virus from searching unsafe sites. But, doesn’t matter. The punishment has been reviewed and upheld.
-
so now its because of my browser history?
-
Your browser history did not get you banned. If a website infected YOUR MACHINE with a virus, then that could ban you because viruses will do that.
-
BNGSecurity Your account was banned on Nov 6th when an application designed for reading and modifying the memory of other running programs was detected directly targeting the Destiny 2 game client at runtime.
-
Oh no I’m fully aware of the punishment that was issued. I’m trying to get that message to the OP. Their systems saw something trying to read and modify Destiny 2’s application memory. Whether it was intentional or not is not for us to determine. Fact is, it happened.
-
OP is playing ignorant to waste people's time.
I enjoy wasting the time of others as 43 days of my life are gone, I"ll be dedicating 43 days 9 hours 52 minutes of being active withing this forum
Edited by BungyGoBrr: 11/7/2019 9:22:44 PMHow can my "machine" get banned if i have windows defender?
-
According to the security team you did. Their word is final.
-
Edited by BungyGoBrr: 11/7/2019 8:58:32 PMTheir word is biased
-
They have absolutely no reason to be anything but impartial. They don't have an active vendetta against you in particular. Their job is to make sure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, and if you run the risk of negatively impacting others you can and will be removed.
-
BIased
-
Repeating that they're biased doesn't make it so.
-
Repeating that their not biased doesnt make it so
-
If you can download and click start, you can run the cheat. It does not take special training.
-
Clearly it must because i don't even understand what you're mentioning
-
You asked for a reason/answer on why you were banned, you have it. I would strongly recommend moving on as making posts is just going to open yourself up to unwanted comments.
