Please add a Crucible game mode with special, power weapons and supers disabled
I'd be eternally grateful.
Edit: to all those "go play CoD", in case you failed to understand what I'm suggesting is a game mode without 1 shot guns and mechanics. That's literally the opposite of something like CoD where anything can 1 hit KO you.

Basically you want it to be halo, but without weapon pickups and control. It's just gonna be a meta of people all spamming the same annoying primary weapon. At least even halo would have a more entertaining pvp experience than that idea.

1 ReplyOr... a game mode where special spawns in chests like heavy ammo and only one person can get it or anyone who picks it up gets one shot, and heavy ammo spawns a lot less frequently or not at all

2 RepliesI have been saying this for the longest time. I despise crucible for the most part, usually only playing a handful of matches in a month because getting killed by shotgunners and fusions and supers every five seconds isn't fun for me. I get someone 95% dead and then get murdered out of left field by someone in a super before I can get the kill. Like, come on. It's not 100% awful in crucible, but I would play it way more often if it had a "bare bones" style game mode. Something like -primary ammo weapons only (no spawning with energy ammo) -if special ammo, it can only be acquired in slow spawning bricks around the map -supers and abilities dont naturally generate over time, if at all That would be the most balanced, fair fight, in my opinion. And if people dont like it, then they dont have to play the game mode. Simple as that.

Just because Crucible is in a bad state now, a decrease in gameplay possibilities would not make it better. Only few would play it, its not worth it, the resources are better spend on actual problems than memes.

2 RepliesIf you want this, don't play Destiny. Go play Call Of Duty or Battlefield or anything else but don't play Destiny. I'm not saying this to botter you, but it's just a fact. Supers are a part of the Destiny universe, no matter what you want so this complain doesn't makes sense. It's Space magic.

Bring it.... but don't forget One Thing about your best laid plans. Good players will kill you however they can. I get 25 kill games constantly that involve little more than my primary. I've never used a broken super in pvp more than a few times. Good players have developed gun skills, they know exactly When to start shooting at you. They can tell if you're going to peek them. They have a feel for multiple gun types and can use all of them effectively. They Will Kill You with a stick... why? Because they're ready and you're not. That's what putting in the effort gets them !

D1 trials with one round of heavy..that was great l wish comp in D2 was like this lol but yeh no supers or heavy would be amazing but so many would cry about it lol

8 RepliesThat'd be fun. But bungie wont make it cause everyone here would cry about such a thing. The classic "go play COD" is the usual response. Cause apparently COD has damage numbers pop up when you shoot.
