I have already checked for the steam_appid.txt file, I'm not running it on Admin, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled about 6 times since the switch to steam. I've also checked the integrity of my files multiple times (and they always show up as fine). I also tried to delete everything but the packages a few times and the bin once. Nothing seems to work. I really need help.
Whenever the game crashes, on Task Manager it shows up as mulitple copies of Destiny 2 running if that helps. In addition, the crashes happen everywhere but are a lot more prevalent on the Moon and in Forsaken worlds. Not sure why that is.
once again, I HAVE ALREADY VERIFIED MY FILES SEVERAL TIMES. At this point, i need non standard advice as the standard advice is doing nothing.
Thanks!

4 RepliesHi there, Thanks for reaching out. Some players report they have fixed this issue by following these steps: 1. In the Steam Games library, right click Destiny 2 and go to Properties. 2. Click Local Files then Browse Local Files to open your Destiny 2 directory. 3. Remove all files in this folder EXCEPT "Packages." 4. Then verify the integrity of Destiny 2 game files.
