Remove the ban please!

Remove the ban please! Why is tech support so categorically refusing to engage in dialogue? I really did not use third-party software! Just check my account - everything is there, everything is obtained in honest ways! It’s illogical to buy a deluxe edition and use cheats, threatening to be banned. Why they gave me a permanent ban, because I did nothing wrong! I just want to play a game I love so much ...

  • Bungie doesn’t overturn bans, you have admitted to having a cheat engine installed on your pc. Even if it isn’t designed for D2, the anti cheat will still flag it as a possible threat.

  • Interesting - rarely would I see a ban for someone not playing Crucible because that's where most people who will cheat do cheat. You must have had something running on your PC against the TOS that Bungie caught. That is the only explanation. They can also ban for a really bad Internet connection that destroys the experience for other players, but again, that's most impactful for PVP, not PVE. They won't reverse their decision, and even if they did, you would get banned again because if you don't know what caused the problem, it would still be running and cause a future ban. My suggestion to you specifically - get a console if you want to keep playing Destiny. Far less chance of a ban on console.

    • Well, Bungie bans are automated. They're caused if you modified files of the game or if you had an application that can modify the game files opened such as "Cheat engine" for example. There is no one it would ban you if you have done neither of these things.

      •
Remove the ban please! Why is tech support so categorically refusing to engage in dialogue?
They do not have appeals for bans.
I really did not use third-party software! Just check my account
They did check your account:
Your account was banned on Oct 24th because the Destiny 2 application was directly targeted by a program capable of - and designed for - reading the modifying the memory of other running processes at runtime. The data leading to your ban has been reviewed. Your punishment will be upheld.
You have 2 options now... start a new account, reacquire the content and start from scratch or move on. Your old account is done and dusted.

Why they gave me a permanent ban, because I did nothing wrong! I just want to play a game I love so much ...
-_- Kid you ###### up. ACTIVE cheats for D2 or other games can trigger this. They don't care. Loyalty. Time played. Content purchased. Gear earned. When you started. Intent. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. There is NO course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance of the rules doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done. Right or wrong. There is literally nothing you can do about it. So your only two options are to buy the content again or move on.

          •
I really did not use third-party software!
List what's installed on your PC. Let's see if we can figure out what caused your ban.
