First point; it’s sad that a game’s own forum is a ‘vocal minority’
First point addendum; it’s not that bad of a grind if you have: a good light level, aren’t screwed into lopsided matches, and have the proper meta ttk guns already.
Second point; the game is freshly free to play, that might have something to do with the spike in player base.
Give it a minute. Fresh blueberries getting stomped by seasoned veterans in the crucible might be fun for the veterans, but the players getting stomped have nothing to lose by not playing the PVP part of a free game, and once they figure out that nobody is willing to help them through the ‘pre-new expansion story, raids, raid lairs- everything that’s been left behind’? There might be some changes to the player numbers. I could be wrong, it’s just a guess. Shine on.

There is a reason this place is the vocal minority, anybody looking for a real conversation should stay away. That quest is easy period. It's sbmm now, the blue berries aren't getting stomped every game. Nobody needs help in this games PvE. Give it time, you mean the game may actually lose some players in a month? That's crazy talk. I thought everyone that plays this game would be playing daily forever. Free to play, you literally just said the number would die down after the blue berries play through the new content.....the new content isn't free, this was a typical bnet contradiction, good show.

“PRE-new expansion content” “PRE” as everything that has come BEFORE.

Yep I got that, but you contradicted yourself.

Edited by GalaxySpider: 10/16/2019 6:50:54 AMIt not sad, it's just normal. Even for huge games like WoW or Battlefield. People who like and play the game have no reason to waste their time here or in a forum in general. Mostly, in a forum, only "negative" things appear (not to mention you are not allowed to say something positive here in the Destiny community, making THIS a sad thing actually), stuff millions of others players might have no problem with.

I agree with you to a degree. But if there isn’t a forum where active players can voice both their support for the game, as well as their misgivings, then the game can’t evolve in a direction dictated by the player base. The naive hope, is that the discourse from both sides is civil. But in this specific case, it may be a more ridiculous thought that ‘anyone is actually listening’. I loved D1, even with all its flaws. And people will say that my opinion doesn’t matter because I don’t play anymore. That’s their opinion, and that’s fine. It doesn’t matter to them, it may matter to Bungie. Regardless, I’m glad you still love the game, keep on keepin on. Cheers.
