I am SICK TO DEATH of being told how to play/what gear to use.
I play middle-tree Striker Titan, I use Bygones, IKELOS shotgun and Thunderlord. I run Year-One Iron Banner armor with the Armamentarium.
That's what I LIKE!

It's gonna be a beautiful blamming day when you stop catering EXCLUSIVELY to the vocal minority of players who want everything to be a long, drawn-out tedious mind-numbing grindfest.

You can’t handle changing the type of weapons you use for a couple matches? I mean good lord, seriously? I was happy with it because it forced people to stop using Midas and Hand Cannons for a bit. It took me maybe 4-5 games total to get it all done. Grow up.

They think it's ok to be locked out of using your hard earned tokens to get engrams that you already worked for, until you complete a chore of a quest line. This is a market economy and gaming companies will continue to add scummy, low-quality , and lazy mechanics as content so long as there are enough zombies to buy into it. Locking IB engrams behind quests despite having enough tokens is a very bad precedent. I've seen games that had great potential like DCUO and Swtor become a shadow of their former selves because of poor business practices, lazy development, and listening to the Fortniters within the community. Ironically, the players who promoted bad ideas ended up leaving themselves as the population dwindled and their friends left. You guys are slowly making Bungie ruin the game by accepting bad gaming practices. Smh.

From a game play stand point, I don’t mind this too much as I get to use guns I might not other wise use. There’s pros & cons to that but overall, I can deal it with. What I don’t like, is the timing of this or in a power level advantage play list. Means I have to use upgrade modules on guns I probably won’t use again, instead of using resources on preferred gear. I guess I could use 750 gear in IB but that doesn’t sound like a ton of fun..

I am "ok" with it but...I am on the grenade launcher quest step right now and my eyes widened like crazy when I saw "grenade launcher" and realised its only the power weapon grenade launchers that seem to grant progress. First off this is a horrible idea; 1) because this means everyone will be fighting over the power ammo more than normal. 2) It also encourages people to camp it to either take it or farm kills instead of PTFO. This was a horrible idea for a quest step I get it they want people to use unconventional weapons to complete the quest but my god at least fusion rifles had some freedom but power ammo grenade launchers? While all the pulse rifles are around? while most power ammos are extremely open and easily preaimed with pulse rifles and snipers? Horrible idea not enjoying this part of the quest step whatsoever.

You know what's worse is being 955, trying to be a good clan leader and playing with your 920-935 clan mates and getting mercy ruled every match because 5/6 players get killed by a single stray bullet. So while trying to complete the quest you have about a minute and a half to get any progress done 😂 oh well we completed the raid. I'll have to secretly solo IB to get it done fast.

I didn't play with anything other than pulses, scouts, snipers, and rockets for a looooooong time. Then I started with bows. Next, I used grenade launchers. Eventually I got the loaded question, Recluse, etc. Personally, even though I have a solid K/D, I like to switch it up in crucible as much as I do in PvE now. Now your preference is your preference, but as a casual player, play casually, not so sweaty. I skipped the wendingo and mountaintop quest. Too much work that's not fun.

I would agree with you on the different weapon kills, but it is literally 20ish kills with each which you can knock out in 2 or 3 matches. The quest took me about 2 hours to do it, which is nothing compared to last season's quest where you had to get 200ish grenade kills.

You are not forced to accept or complete a quest. With the entitlement thought process its no surprise of why there are so many pathetic individuals out there. I hate that handcannons got nerfed but it was necessary you don't see me acting like a child. Its a game its not like the fate of the world rest on it and definitely not you.

1 Replyiron banner is the pvp version of a raid, its supposed to take time to complete. the grind isnt my issue though, the crazy stupid lvls enabled really gets my goat. I play pvp almost all the time I don't bother raiding since D1 trying to get together players who wont request you use this or that or don't have that 1 lvl to make you what ever number they think you need to be. pve players are anal at best, I play pvp to chill out and laugh see stupid stuff happen and somehow win 3v1 against unbroken try hards while I use a sidearm. this lvl crap in IB is making it a sserious chore, im playing Ib to gain lvls not to be beating into submission by players who cant aim and are 960 lvl.
