Erentil...
I never used it tho.
-
What weapon types are you best with?
-
Bygones, Recluse, Wardcliff, Vigilance Wing, Chaperone, Spare Rations, Service Revolver, Last Word, Redrix, (Not Forgotten), Beloved, Truth, Erentil, (Any shotgun with narrow spread and fast reload), Mountaintop, honestly just go with what you like.
-
6 RepliesMost of the Curse Of Osiris Verse Weapons are great, I'd recomend the Scout, Sidearm, Auto, Hand Cannon (Kinetic), Saint 14s Shotgun. Outside of those weapons I'd recomend you get some of the weapons from Titan or Banshee 44
-
2 RepliesYou get a chance to choose the Sunshot from the original story campaign I believe, I'd use that because it got a healthy buff recently and is very good.
-
If you like auto rifles, the Kibou Ar3 is available.

Depends on your weapon type preference. I gotchu. This excludes exotics (because you're new and they're rare for the most part so you probably don't have them) and crucible pinnacles because, again, you're new. Pulse: Bygones (gambit), or Blast Furnace (black armory) Hand Cannon: Service Revolver (vanguard packages), Kindled Orchid (black armory) Austringer (menagerie), or Duke Mk. 44 with outlaw (random) Scout: Scorpion (random), Oxygen SR (vanguard pinnacle) - I exclusively use the exotic Jade Rabbit; others may have better legendary recommendations here. Auto: this category is a joke SMG: Exit Strategy (gambit pinnacle) Shotgun: Duskrock Blues (random), Wishender (crucible package), Ikelos SG (escalation protocol) Fusion: Erentil (gunsmith packages), any with backup plan Sidearm: I'm not a huge fan, but you can look Anonymous Autumn (crucible packages) Bows: any and all if that's your playstyle. Pop and poke is a solid strat Sniper: Beloved is the top tier, no contest (the menagerie) Rockets: anything with tracking Grenade launchers: doesn't super matter as long as it's rolled with decent blast radius and whatever the perk is that makes them explode on contact. I run Play of the Game (crucible packages) Linear fusion: don't waste your time Sword: unless you wanna troll, don't waste your time. With all of that said, the best crucible weapons are the pinnacles from crucible. Go pick up the bounties from Shaxx for these weapons: Recluse, Mountaintop, Luna's Howl, and Revoker. Recluse is an smg and it's arguably the best weapon in the game, especially close range. Luna's Howl is the best handcannon in the game. Great at mid range. Revoker is bar none the best sniper in the game. Mountaintop is a grenade launcher in the kinetic slot that has no bullet drop off. Direct impact Insta kill. All of these require comp, which is easier now than ever. Happy hunting!

Just move to Italy, the lag compensation makes you unkillable

5 RepliesMida and Uriels Gift. 2016 retro 👌
-
Just get the mida it’s free and the best gun for crucible right now. Bungie literally has a meta wheel and this season it’s mida for the 4th time in 5 years 🤢🤮

Edited by Rapscallion: 10/14/2019 1:23:15 PMThere's actually quite a big list of good guns currently. 140/150rpm handcannons, 340, 390, 4-burst, 540rpm pulses, 600rpm autos, Scouts that aren't 180RPM You can do well with all of the above.
-
Everyone’s responses are too vague imo: get recluse. It’s extremely good in probably 90% of the activities in Destiny.
-
Bygones - Gamibt, Recluse - quest steps, Coil Mida Multitool/ Jade Rabbit - exotics, any shotgun, Play of the game - crucible GL or whatever you can get kills with
-
Lots of viable weapons, as long as u have spacial awareness 👍
-
Horror’s leash
-
MIDA Badlanders shotgun Bad Omens RL from gambit. All easy to obtain and provide a solid pvp load out.
-
At least The Recluse. You need 2100 Glory points from the Survival or Survival Freelance playlists, and several wins in any mode. Xur is selling Jade Rabbit right now, I'd grab that. Play Vex Offensive and/or forge an Adhortative (390 rpm pulse rifle), available from Ikora.
-
Titan, imo
-
1 ReplyDont play pvp..
-
See thats the wrong question. Don’t just go for a gun because it’s good for pvp. Stick to what you are used to. Don’t just go for a weapon because it’s too op or the “best”. Practice with weapons and see what you’re comfortable with.

Edited by WP ScorpionWind: 10/14/2019 9:00:27 AMI hear the Cut and Run legendary energy scout rifle is suppose to be real good, for PvP and PvE. The hard part is getting it. It's suppose to drop from faction engrams, and then from some strikes. I have not gotten it but once long ago before I learned about how good it's suppose to be and it can't be pulled from collections either so you just have to be real lucky I guess.

Bygones from gambit is pretty solid. Dust rock blues shotgun drops from a lost sector in the edz. If you have access to the dreaming city Twilight Oath is a pretty decent sniper if you want to grind Revoker

Edited by BadWolf: 10/14/2019 7:24:43 AMnew raid weapons are very good... moon weapons can roll with good perks vex invasion ones too... crucible guns : better devils / play of the game (maybe need forsaken) pre-forsaken: (they have fixed rolls, so not so good) Warmind = Escalation Protocol guns (ikelos shotgun / sniper / smg and hand cannon) Polaris Lance Sleeper Simulant Curse of Osiris = mercury forge weapons are kinda good Antiope-d SMG Midnight Coup (leviathan hc) Inaugural Adress (Pulse Rifle) Nation of Beasts (hc) Mida Multi Tool Riskrunner Ace of Spades (maybe forsaken) The y2 meta is all Forsaken and Anual Pass Related
