I logged back in to find my Warlock was gone. Please help.

I have been a Destiny player since The Dark Below. I made my Warlock sometime in Destiny’s first year. I migrated that Warlock from Destiny to Destiny 2. However, I stopped playing Destiny 2 in mid-October of 2017. I haven’t played since and I just logged back into my old account to prepare for cross save and my Warlock was gone. I have no idea what happened and I know that I lost exotics that were on that character. Is there any support I can get? Is there any way I can get my character back of any compensation for lost time?

  • https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12211 Unfortunately there is no help you can get from Bungie. Once an item or character is deleted it is irrevocably gone. The only way a character can go missing is if you either logged into the wrong account or someone logged into your account and manually deleted the character. If it is the latter then I suggest changing your password and make sure you have two factor authentication enabled.
