Izanagi's Burden quest bugged (Black Armory Key mold not obtainable)

The Volundr, Gofannon, and Izanami Forge all rewarded their respective keys upon destroying the Post-1st round drones that appear in each of the Forges.
However, it seems that the Lock and Key quest cannot be completed by the Bergusia Forge's completion with the drones, nor with interaction with Ada-1. She does not give you the quest to obtain the key. I have looked to Reddit and other online sources but they are either out-dated or they are having similar problems. There seems to be virtually no solution to this so far.
Others report that more than one character is unable to obtain the quest or so and so, but that isn't the issue here. It's not that perhaps another one of my characters could have obtained the quest accidentally, it's that *none*, not even my main character which has the Lock and Key quest has any access whatsoever to getting the final key.
Is this a bug, or are my friends and I missing something?
If someone is able to clarify or share their experience on this issue, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

5 RepliesJust adding to this list. I had 3 keys out of 4 on the mystery box done. I also had the quest step that asked for the bergusia forge completion. Completed it... got the key... inserted and it vanished along with the quest step. Mystery box still only has 3 keys opened...

To clarify it's not just the black armory key that is bugged and being eaten. I also had 2 butterfly keys from yeet forge get eaten. So it appears that the fix for the quest bugged all the keys. Luckily I did the butterfly key before the black armory key so I was able to rerun it and have both keys waiting for the fix.

2 RepliesI guess all of us are stuck at the final key obtained from Bergusia. Same thing happened to me. Key disappeared after slotting it in but the quest did not progress. Oh well, back to me using the Tranquility then as a Kinetic sniper.

I have finished all the key quests but my box has only checked off two of them. I’d greatly appreciate if this was fixed somehow. Please and thank you bungie

I have also completed Bergusia Forge on Maximum Temper just in case, and still, no drop. I have checked all my characters, hoping this ludicrous issues was perhaps intentional? No, it wasn't, still don't have the Armory Lock after 2+ weeks of waiting. This is seriously getting irritating. :( Update: Finally got the Black Armory lock and grinded for 3 hours! Inserted it into my Box and nothing happened. I'm so pleased to know that there was a 2nd stage to this bug, and I have now wasted 3 full hours achieving absolutely nothing. Grinding the Underbelly, and the same stupid stike 10 times over just to discover it was all for nothing. I literally cannot describe the frustration I'm feeling right now.

I have always loved this game and still do, but "locking" the quest for one of the top Tier dps weapons behind several bugs and preventing people from doing raids etc because they dont own the weapon and are not accepted into groups is stupid, annoying and frustraiting. Especially after already having to wait several days to get to the right forge, because ofcourse it was a good idea to make it a rotation...

I really wish I wasn't as this is a video game... but I'm literally furious. All that work for nothing. Ruined my day. Sad but true. I havent commented in a forum in like 10 years.I'm so angry I had to say something. Please make fixing this a priority and compensate those who have wasted hours of their lives grinding only to be rewarded with frustration and disappointment. People like me who regularly sing this game's praises and get people excited to join up and play, are pissed. I love this game, truly. It's fantastic. ... but this is a fun killer. I'm bummed.

1 ReplyDidn't know that this was a bug until 3 minutes ago. (I wish they would tell us what quests are bugged in the game itself so I don't waste time trying to finish it). I consumed the obsidian key thing for the rare bounty but it's telling me to complete a rare bounty still, so I'm assuming the whole quest is bugged... that sucks!

for some reason when i try to go get a key from this weeks rotation it wont give me the key ill obtain the key how ever it wont let me insert the key

Looks like whole quest is buged Thx for replays @HERSHEYSQUlRTZ, and @Black_Eye_81 I will try, or I will take some friends with me. Anyway I was trying yesterday to insert gathered keys from the forge - they are not working. Now I need to do them again.

I am not sure what else to do but it is really upsetting. I hope we can get a patch fix and do not have to grind again for the same steps. I got stuck at obsidian crystal part and have uploaded a video where it does not register

I also have the same problem, I inserted the black armory key in the box and nothing happened, also I've tried to abandon the quest and got it again to see if it worked and none of the keys appear!!!

This happened to my friend as well. Bungie how is this quest being fixed to be broken in another step?
