(Day 6) PC Move still broken. And so are our hearts.

[i]It's Day 6. Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Bits & Bytes on Steam. So let's get to taking out their...[/i] No, nope, sorry... i'm not going to put effort into a [i]slightly [/i] amusing post again if Bungie cannot put that same effort into reaching out to it's users affected by this issue with some real, formal recognition and resolution dialog. [b]No guardian left behind question mark[/b] (No snark here - honestly.) Congratulations to Ascend Clan and their world's first Garden of Salvation completion! You lot got your stuff together, persevered and took the belt. Honestly well deserved! So that's it... Raid's done. I'm sure a lot of focus and attention was placed on that so now there's got to be some time to direct those resources towards us. And yes, i'm sure a group has been (god I hope) poking around into these PC migration issues but we're still flapping in the breeze here 6 days later. This bit might come of as a tad cynical but I think we can all agree it's mostly likely the truth: Imagine if Gladd or Datto suffered this full PC migration character/progress lock-out. What do you think the response would be? I'd venture Bungie would have come up with some sort of solution, or at the very least, some TWAB-level posts would be made detailing the situation and expressing their efforts to rectify it. Unfortunately for us we don't carry that weight. I can only speak for myself really, but i'm reaching the point where if something is not done quickly i'm going to be leaving Destiny (and Bungie) behind. It's crushing to have spent so much time with the game over the years for it all to vanish and get locked up in some guardian purgatory... regardless if that was my mistake (Did i click the wrong button?) or a glitch in the system. I'd miss the game (I love Destiny), my characters and the ritual of new content but i'd miss you all the most. The community, clanmates and friends. I can stand behind you all but not behind this debacle. Please Bungie?       • Hey all! I thought I had the same problem as many of you guys: my characters , my forsaken license and progress wouldn't appear on my steam account that I thought I had transferred them to from battle.net. It appears I moved them to a different steam account that I forgot about. So check again if you didn't move them elsewhere, and login with that account info, here on bungie.net and on the steam app. All the best! Hope this helps!

        • I'm having a very similar problem and I'm of a very similar mindset. I did everything like it told me to. While I was transferring accounts was right in the middle of their site being overloaded and crashing. So that may have something to do with it. Maybe something got corrupted somewhere? I miss this game.

        • from support form: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48099 this is what I sent: "Daidoji Oct 5, 8:36 AM PDT PC move failed to transfer battle.net character, enabling cross-save asks to migrate to steam before enabling, it said it was successful but character is not showing up in the steam tab. In-game confirms it as it just goes to character creation." Their response: "Hello, Your help request is invalid and will not be investigated as it concerns an issue that is off-topic to the contact form used to submit the help request.           • i recently went pc, my characters loaded but not the shadowkeep deluxe that i pre ordered. i can play it on ps4, but i have friends on pc that i can't play with now. i could however play on ps4 and it would save on pc.

            • I am debating on trying to link another steam account, but worried it may cause some weird next issue. Also, I'm unsure if I would have to refund the DLC on my main Steam account and then have to re-purchase on the new Steam. This issue has caused me so much stress and I am sure you all feel the same. Been a loyal fan since Destiny 1 came out and spent many hours on both games. I only had one character to transfer, because I only played Warlock. So frustrating too possibly know I may lose all of my gear. I've seen some people have had success creating a new steam account. Should I just keep waiting? I pray for all of our characters, dlc's, and gear transferring over soon!

              • Im also having the same exact problem, When i try to enable cross save, the set up process is bugged. my character still exist in my battle.net but it wont migrate to steam. and steam wont read that i have a character. is there an update on this? when can we expect a fix?

                • I am in the same boat. My PC transfer from Battle.net to Bungie/Steam shows successful. But not all my licenses transferred and zero characters. I don't want to start all over again, but it'd be nice to be playing with my friends at this point. I tried opening a support ticket but it got labeled as "incorrect form" and closed out. Not helpful at all.

                • PC Move problems seems to be simple to solve !? Problem seems that if steam data is generated before PC Move it will simply ignore any attempt to transfer correct data ... There should be a way for steam data to be deleted so that new information could be transferred correctly ... But somehow Bungie can't delete this data or they don't want to do it. Bungie please help us because we are losing money (DLC etc) if this data is not transferred correctly.

                    • I FOUND A FIX!! After countless different ideas and after several unlinking processes, I figured it out. It's not one that everyone is going to like, but it works. I just now made a new steam account and tried transfering to it and it worked INSTANTLY. It kinda blows that I have to use a separate account for it, but it works. I have ALL my characters and DLC now :)

                      • Has anyone tried making a new/separate steam account and tried linking and transferring to it? Or perhaps just reinstalling the game? I’m gonna try these later, but want to see if anyone else has tried it.

                      • I'm having the same problem with only the base D2/Osiris/Warmind licenses loading but not Forsaken. I was just about to grab Shadowkeep too but until I get my Forsaken access back I'm not spending another $40 for content that I might be locked out of anyways.
