So the flavor of hate this month is win trading to legend in comp. the reason I was attracted to this topic is I found a friend of mine win traded and didn’t know how to feel about it. Being honest this dude is a beast in crucible and already legend before so I think he did it out of convenience. But in the end it’s his account so its not my buisness. Then I saw all the post on the forum from people frothing at the mouth upset about it.
When I tried not to get caught up in the pack mentality and have my own opinions I realized that we cheese to every title in this game.
Wayfarer people cheese ep
Rivensbane people cheese riven
Chronicler people cheese lore
Unbroken people wintrade cheese
Mmxm people cheese bad juju
And more cheese that I haven’t mentioned.
I want to know why pve cheese is ok but pvp cheese brings out the pitchforks. No portion of the game is more important than the other imo. Cheesing to get 1k is the same as Not Forgotten in my eyes.
Either way I think I don’t care. I’ve never been obsessed on what other people have to the point I launch a massive investigation into their gaming history then start screaming in the forums like Jared from subway touched you. I’m curious as to why people act the way they do?
Edit: if you win traded please contribute to the discussion. We already know btw. 20 matches of wins and straight zeros or blocked game history is impossible not to notice.

Cheesing is pretty sad. For titles or weapons. But it is pretty hilarious seeing Kiddos with Not Forgotten struggling to get kills.

4 RepliesHow in the hell can you cheese the way fairer title.

1 ReplyIt discredits the people that actually did it Also how do you cheese lore what

3 RepliesI never cheesed ANY TITLE. I have 6 titles. Win and kill trading is scum, and Bungie should start banning. And if you cheese your way to any title, you simply do not deserve it.

I have every title except unbroken and riven’s bane and did not cheese one. That being said people have cried foul about every cheese there is so I’m not sure what you are on about. If people want to cheese that’s fine. If you don’t want to cheese that is fine as well just don’t go around telling others how to play the game.

4 RepliesEdited by Bieltan: 9/13/2019 3:56:30 PMThe only thing I cheesed Riven for was LFG groups (come play with my buddies, we do it legit every time because its more fun and we usually have meme loadouts anyway) and to lessen the chances of getting guitar'd during Petras Run. Wintrading is both detectable and punishable, people get restricted, sometimes even banned for it. So, your friend has the banhammer looming in his future. Might be days, weeks or months but its gonna happen. Mark my words.

1 ReplyIts really a shame we ran 5 x Legends in 2 Days, Legend Comp is easier than Fable Rank now 😂

11 RepliesImagine you are on a team of people that cheeses their way to legend, and should never be playing people in that level in pvp, now you are playing legit players that are that good with a team of people that should not be there! That’s why people have a problem! I myself did not care either till I thought of that! DFP has a video explaining this topic! So yeah it ruins the game more than cheesing pve elements, not about weapons obtained but the level of play you need to be at to play at higher levels!

1 ReplyEdited by Mister Wrecked: 9/13/2019 3:12:40 PMI don't think it's the title that matters, it's that lower skill win traders tend to get themselves to 5500 glory then work on other quest steps. Ultimately this leads to legit high skill, high glory solos, duos, and three Guardian fireteams being teamed up with people who can't complete in high level Comp. That unfairly puts legit players at a disadvantage. If these guys did their quest steps first, and naturally remained in lower level Comp, then win traded to 5500 they likely wouldn't revisit Comp. That would impact fewer people, and fewer people would care. What I'm saying is if you're going to cheese do it responsibly...

2 RepliesWin trading? Who cares Win trading and then acting like you're a good player? You deserve to be banned simply because of how annoying you are
