I've been away from Destiny since Forsaken launched (2 weeks after it launched actually), and I finally got to finish some high end activities. Since I first beat the Dungeon 6 weeks ago, I said it's the best activity Bungie has made. Today I finally solo'd it, and while it took long, it felt great at the end. I know this isn't new to many of you, and I bet a lot of you have done it already. But as someone who wasn't going for it while Whisper was still good, and without Mountaintop/Recluse now, it was hard but it was so satisfying to finish it. I'm actually the first in my clan to attempt it an finish it (1st try if I may add).
I'm hoping Bungie does a lot more of these Dungeons, and missions like Whisper and 0h. Maybe even make a playlist of such by removing the time limits and giving it matchmaking.

2 RepliesHey guys look at me!!!!

Congratulations, not easy to do.

6 RepliesI’m not sure why people even care about this triumph. It’s boring AF, not impressive and doesn’t reward any loot. Your time would be better spent on a flawless raid.

11 RepliesEdited by SouLHunTer: 9/1/2019 9:35:18 AMMade it my self too with 1 hours 58 minutes. Was a first try, and with hunter it was so breath taking. 6 deaths on 2nd boss and 12 death on Dul Incaru, got really tired after it but still, it was really something fun to think how I should solve this and that, and be more efficient while making up for boss? Will definitely try the flawless next time when I can.

5 RepliesI did too a few days ago. It was frustrating due to the inconsistency of where/how the adds shoot you and their dumb random movements, especially against the Ogre and Dul Incaru. Also the lack of ammo synths or banners was really annoying. It just makes you acutely aware of what shitty design was stuffed in the activity.

Edited by Alphard: 9/1/2019 8:45:37 PMCongrats! I solod it back in Forsaken and it is STILL my favorite emblem in the entire game. Nothing had come close to matching its beauty. (In my opinion of course, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder). And the dungeon never got old either. Since then I have 33 clears currently and have helped a boatload of people get their bows and whatnot. (I know my true number of clears because, of Charlemagne on my Discord). Definitely my favorite activity in the game to this day. I hope there is another new sexy solo emblem to go after in Shadowkeep. 😆 Congrats again! Its not an easy feat.

1 ReplyGg’s bud! Loved that solo. Those were some salty adds at the ogre.
-
Now get back in there and Flawless it
-
I agree! one of the most fun activities yet. first time I soloed it, I felt so accomplished. now I help out as many people as I can through wishender and first time clears. it's a very relaxed activity at times, while also having high tension moments.
-
6 RepliesI did as well , it was fun, more than zero hour
-
3 RepliesI just beat it too! I was already at Dul Incaru when I remembered I had taken and hive barrier, which stack if your'e fighting taken hive. All the damage from the boss and the ads was reduced to a tickle. I actually feel kinda stupid having not used then earlier at vorgeth. Probably would've reduced the 8 hours the run took in all. But y'know, live n' learn right?
