I'm soooo sick of Dust Rock Blues+Not Forgotten+Wardcliff Coil loadouts.
Can we please mix things up? People complain about Erentil all day but fail to see the true problems in this game. Every time I look at a sweaty player's loadout. DRB + WC + NF. EVERY...SINGLE....TIME. I'm not asking for nerfs, I'm begging the community to try something new. I wanna puke every time I see 20K kills on a NF or 10K kills on a DRB. The heavy weapon meta needs to change. Nothing but free team wipe wardcliff coil.
Edit: playing on console. I realize not a problem on pc
Edit 2: This is not about my ability to play the game. I already have ways to counter the meta loadouts. I get hate mail after every game. It's a good feeling knowing how to counter it. My point is the crucible is getting stale. We have a giant sandbox and yet people only want to play in one tiny corner of it. There are other viable options. The crucible should be overflowing with variety. Hopefully shadowkeep can incentivize players to try new loadouts.

I think bungie need a pvp overhaul oremade teams should have their own comp play list and random qs should b completely random not based off ur glory lvl warlocks need to have our melee buffed or give us some way to not feel so squishy also jotun is such a newbie weapon it makes the ones that actually put the time into this game look like we wasted our time hunters need to nerfed all around the board in pvp its sad when it takes me 3 melees to kill a hunter but they can one shot me also bungie get rid of super abilities that u can shut off early it should if u use it u loose it u want a pure player balance then do all that then kick out anyone younger than 18 cuz im tired of having to play w them just because i choose to play solo without a premade its nearly impossible to build glory points also make this game more working class friendly dont force me on the one day a week i have time to play and instead of progression i am forced to waste my time grinding over and over the same stuff and i can barely even compete because of it idk im -blam!- ik but for those of us that love to game but have lives well we are the ones w the money

Bungie did this when they decided to add broken weapons to get more players into they're comp. Playlist. Half the guns in this game would be banned from a real competition. So much broken cheese. That's why I play like a chicken with his head cut off. I simply stopped caring. None of those handcannons should be anything more than a trust with killclip. Period.

5 RepliesI find that the 180s remain a better option than Luna and NF. More importantly most people can get q Service Revolver as opposed to a Luna and most definitely a NF. Decent DRB can be farmed (RNG willing) and everyone has a Warcliff. So, what I'm saying is that EVERYONE has the opportunity to play with the strongest weapons...but chooses not to. I'm at a loss to explain the logic behind their decisions.

Typical easy mode load out. add a one eyed mask, bottom striker Titan and you have your self a training wheels guardian. God forbid they put down there shotgun and try having fun with more variety of guns. The Sun will freeze.

1 Replyis this a console problem? I don't see this much on pc. That said, wardcliff is not a competitive heavy, you only get like 1 or 2 kills with it. Things like heavy machine guns, grenade launchers and truth, let you rack up a lot more damage over time in pvp

I don’t see this load out much. I see a bunch of over powered hand cannons. Ace Of Spades is the best gun for comp - seen it before my eyes: watched my son get to fable, solo, in days. The range on that gun is broken.

Spank em with last word and sniper and call it a day. Or piss them off with an explosive payload crimils dagger. Absolutely hilarious to watch them lose that gun fight

2 RepliesDude the perfect counter is le monarque with a quickdraw primary. I used le monarque and a quickdraw,tap the trigger, range MW in comp and got past 2100 pretty quick while playing 90% solo. Lemonarque does 175 total damage.

No matter what there is always a preferred load out that sweaties like to run. Even Noland Beyond at one point in D1. IMO this is the most balanced destiny crucible has ever been ( not saying it’s good )

Not gonna lie, I haven’t seen this load out in a long time it’s been mostly just erentils and wizened rebukes for me. Yes I do use NF, but more so from the accomplishment of earning the weapon. I do see where you come from, and I think they just need to go back to D1 standards of specials always starting with no ammo at all and special crates having to be implemented again. I do think that ward cliff needs some kinda adjustment. Maybe that you need two rockets in the volley to kill a player outside of a super, but not for that to translate into PVE as well making the weapon garbage and barely able to kill a thrall pack.
