All the new changes sounds good, but you got to wonder, what didn't they tell us. Like brightdust what else is BD going to be used for besides the EV store, and infusion material costs, and what will be added to the infusion costs, I might be nitpicking, I'm curious.
-
While I’m not a fan of removing content, I will still pre order because I love Destiny and want to support the franchise going forward.
-
I love this franchise. You guys are all free to vote with your wallets. I'm pre-ordering the digital deluxe edition as soon as I get off work. This game has helped get me through some dark times. It also helped my son learn how to read and get interested in art. Destiny is far from perfect but I honestly feel like it is always improving. As long as that continues to happen, Bungie has me as a customer.
-
I have already pre-ordered it. I really enjoy Destiny and am looking forward to it.
-
2 Replieskeep in mind you can earn bright dust completely in game through zavala and shaxx and that it wont come from eververse items. So bright dust will just be like any other currency just with a few less sources
-
1 ReplyPreordered it as soon as possible. I admit there are problems but I always will love this game. Fanboy status: engaged.
-
Preordered the physical collector's edition day 1. I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to also be getting those items the digital version gets, the Eris rock emote and such. You'd think the most expensive version would, but I'm not sure.
-
What I learned from grinding is that it’s never too late to waste time on the stuff they will make them irrelevant in a month or so after I got them. So, I will give Luke the benefit of the doubt for a whole month to show me that I am wrong.
-
Pre ordered ages ago. Can’t help it haha
-
Im a sucker for bungie marketing. Im gonna buy it twice.....smh
-
I kept refreshing the store when it was supposed to be able to order. My third or fourth refresh gave me what I wanted. Ordered the deluxe version. I'm satisfied with the game overall but can totally understand why people are skeptical and want to wait.
-
I'll be on day 1 👍
-
I pre-ordered the 60$ pack. I know, I'm potentially going to regret it. But... Maybe not.
-
I’ll pre order and enjoy just like I always have
-
Even if it eats dirt, I’m not so poor I won’t buy it. I’d rather play sub par content than none at all. That and I’d rather not fall behind everyone else on the power climb, no matter how infusion heavy it may become. We will all adjust as we always have. New shortcuts will be found. New cheats and strats that always make it fun again.

Edited by DownyKitten: 8/20/2019 1:33:41 AMPvP will be worth playing after it goes live which doesnt require rehashed moon content. If I were a betting man, 10 bucks says the new raid will be another horde survival mode with wonky nonsensical mechanics.
-
I’m just worried this is a moon reskin with reskinned enemies. The finishing moves look like pure fluff that might be fun during pvp. The armor could be cool and new exotics/new raid are welcome but im a bit worried. Still gonna but. I invested this much time and I’m seeing it through. I have enjoyed nearly all Destiny put out except Osiris.

1 ReplyEdited by Ulzana: 8/19/2019 11:54:52 PMI pre-ordered (ShadowKeep - without the Season Pass) because I knew I would cave at some point. But after the Director's Cut, I decided to take advantage of the release date change and I cancelled the pre-order. I had to do an online chat with an Xbox rep but it was otherwise painless. My plan now is to see how the new system plays after 10/1 and go from there. I'll also see if I can get anybody new to play, since it's free. NOBODY I know IRL plays Destiny any longer. Even those that I gifted the game.
-
I pre-ordered the Collector's edition, and I am thinking about cancelling my order. The Affinity system looks very unappealing. More grind and complexity really has me turned off. I don't mind recycled content, but these other two factors have me completely disappointed.
-
If shadowkeep doesnt open up events for solo players to join groups in world hubs, then they arent doing the right kind of backend updates.
-
Not preordering but I will more than likely buy upon release. Digital doesn’t run out. Still waiting for more info on the seasonal content outside of Shadowkeep(I hope people realize they are 2 different things.)
-
After all you saw still holding back? Ok then
-
I’m preordering on September 30th :)
-
Already preordered and have the season pass. I took a break during Black Armory and came back during Season of Opulence and all I can say is “wow”. This game has gotten so much better than it was after Forsaken and that’s saying a lot. I trust Bungie and know I will have fun playing their games for a long time to come. Bring on Shadowkeep!!!

23 RepliesEdited by EzE_408: 8/20/2019 12:02:14 AMCommunity: Spends $20 on a Fortnite skin that is used for 3 matches. Community Also: Won’t buy Shadowkeep til reviews are out.m Edit: Okay, someone’s name that rhymes with “Dolly” is getting wayyyy too serious about Destiny players having played Fortnite. As a result, we cannot have any more lighthearted banter in this thread.

1 ReplyI will not pre-order (first of the Bungie releases not to do so). I won't buy on day 1 or probably even month 1 either. I will be interested to wait and see if: - The game still values max grind over fun (no purchase) - PVP matchmaking gets fixed to provide competitive matches (purchase) - The desire to nerf everything good is alive and well (no purchase) We'll see...
