All the new changes sounds good, but you got to wonder, what didn't they tell us. Like brightdust what else is BD going to be used for besides the EV store, and infusion material costs, and what will be added to the infusion costs, I might be nitpicking, I'm curious.
-
I buy it because i love to play Destiny 2 and whenever one of these large content DLCs dropped it was worth it in the past. I don't care about infusion costs because it is a long way to 900 power and there will be new stuff that replaces the old stuff that deserves proper Testing along the way. Bright Dust will be broken into legendary shards and Glimmer, they were pretty open about it. Also the whole Eververse discussion for optional vanity items that is going on (not from you in particular) is very childish and stupid. None of the Eververse items is relevant for the game or your progression and if it keeps a self publishing studio afloat i don't see a problem with it.

I always preorder closer when it release
-
7 RepliesNo, it's looks absolutely phenomenal. Pre-ordered instantly!
-
Ill probably get it but I wanna wait and see what I’m getting myself into
-
3 RepliesI am not pre-order or going to buy it. Bungie lie so many times and take away fun and change things based on YouTube streamers. Bungie need to listen to our feedback. I will wait and see what had been added and make destiny 2 feel like destiny 1.
-
I'm not sure if I'll be buying it or not. I haven't heard enough to make it worth it.
-
1 ReplyWhy buy it - the game will be free. Sure, maybe you have to wait 12 months but the way it reads. Activities will be rolled out, weapons and armor grinded for. After 3 months those activities will be removed and new activitiies to replace them with new weapons and armor to grind. All the while, all the weapons and armor you didn't get will be put into other different sites to be gotten at will. Wait 12 months when everything will be offered for free, play for two weeks, get everything everyone else has For Free and in much less time than it took them spinning on their hampster/gerbil wheel 3 months at a click.
-
nah since i know how to read and think logically unlike half of those in this forum apparently.
-
I’m kind of a destiny fiend, but I’m not buying till I see more of the expansion, I did the same with forsaken. I like bungie but they’re going to have to earn my money for a while, no more preorders from me for a while
-
As a casual player, they’ve completely lost me since I prefer solo pve content. They refuse to add difficulty to the old content so that if you want to have fun then you have to buy the newest content. Also, the focus on MP activities is just too much for me to even consider the game at full price. Love the game though and will buy Shadowkeep when it’s really cheap. It just feels like we’re in some science experiment where they can’t stop tweaking the loop or rewards to see how much garbage we’ll put up with. I’m just over it
-
I only bought the standard edition, forsakens deluxe edition felt like a waste for me tbh
-
My friend, if u wait the nerf disease will already be all over the moon and u won't be able to use any of the glitchs and overpower weapons and supers.
-
1 ReplyI preordered it when it was announced. But regarding the annual pass and things that rubbed me the wrong way I requestef a refund from steam with no problem. I will wait with buying it after I see how Shadowkeep turns out to be.
-
1 ReplyI'm waiting because every time I've preordered anything for D2, I wished I didnt. Not saying it wont be good, I'm just not comfortable doing that anymore. Besides, the stuff you get for preordering anything in video games becomes forgotten in no time. Theres really no worth for the consumer to do so. In my opinion of course.
-
Not buying at all. Bungie got more than enough money from the idiots who bought from Everworse.
-
I'll wait for clearance sale pricing like I did with forsaken.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Reclaimer: 8/20/2019 2:46:45 PMProbably. I want to buy it, but I’m not compelled to do so until I see a real reason that moves me to. I say this with absolutely no disdain, hate, or anything of the sort, but... Isn’t most of the premise of this content drop about old content? Re-earning weapons and armor we’ve already gotten. Defeating adversaries we’ve already defeated (excluding your typical mobs).
-
Will be waiting

Best decision I ever made. Strung along for dollars while being ignored and having all my hard work get nerfed. No thanks, I'd rather fall on my head.
-
You're thinking too much about it. They know all too well not to make Bright Dust used for anything other than Eververse.
-
Agreed
-
Already pre-ordered lol, i didn't want to miss out on anything especially if it meant scraping over a few dollars in october
-
5 RepliesToo late. Already preordered it. If anything, I get to see the moon again. And as many times as Bungie screws up, they own most of it. And I’ve been their fan since the halo days. I’ll almost always support them. Especially since I love this game so much.
-
I can't wait to play so I bought it. Call me Destiny FanMan if you want but when you ask the question, you're not a Destiny die hard like me.
-
4 RepliesOh look, these type of threads. You don't want to then why informing us about it?
-
Nope, I pre ordered.
