I'm going to wait on buying Shadow Keep what about you.
All the new changes sounds good, but you got to wonder, what didn't they tell us. Like brightdust what else is BD going to be used for besides the EV store, and infusion material costs, and what will be added to the infusion costs, I might be nitpicking, I'm curious.

After this 3 dlc pack hell no im not even playing this season unless some serious pvp shit is added changed i doubt if im even getting it at all weirdly enough ive even seen the top pvp saying the same lately new maps and modes are needed badly

1 ReplyThis will be the first expansion/DLC/Pass that i have not purchased. It’s like Bungie promises to take us out for a fantastic no expenses spared meal, we all expect a 3 michelin star banquet to be delivered but instead the reality is Bungie just delivers a cold limp hot dot with no mustard or ketchup from a dodgy street cart drenched in the pouring rain. I like this game, but I’ve had enough of throwing my money at the screen.

124 RepliesNope, getting the version that gives Shadowkeep and 4 seasons. I'll be playing at launch on Oct. 1st. Why? Because i do and have always loved this series despite small issues. If you don't, that's fine. But those of us who do love the game and continue to buy new content aren't wrong either. We can be called fanboys or whatever, I really don't care. I like the game, I'll continue playing it.

I don't like Gambit and Crucible and for the armor to be unlocked i have to do a lot of them. God knows what they are planning to make me do in the future. I'll wait and read some reviews first. I don 't want to pay just for the opportunity to buy more, if you know what i mean. 5000 bright dust or 800 silver for some cosmetics, after you've earned the majestic set allready, with lots of effort? Meh. That's 10 euro's, because you cant even buy 800 silver. Crap. Why do they letyou pay for something you've earned allready. That's bullshit and an anti- climax. And it's not even a nice glowing set: it makes you look like some weird kind of big bird from Sesame Street. I like my transversive warlock exotic way more. And it also glows. :p Edit: i have read the director's cut a bit ,and maybe i do give SK a chance. I must say that some things sound good. But on the other hand: i don't think i have to buy SK to benefit most of the things i've read so far. (But i'm still reading. Way too much text man.) Edit II: O.K. they got me man. Sucked me right into it. Just when i thought i was out, they pull me back in. (Does Pacino imitation) Today i bought the glowing feathers Big Bird/Peacock arc set. Cause i don't want to feel like an outcast or something. So that also means that I'm gonna order SK i guess. Bummer. :(

Nope, loving what they’ve been showing. Really glad bungie is actually showing us what they’ve been working on. And the directors cut definitely sold it for me. Already pre ordered the deluxe edition.

Yeah especially people who, when D2 first released, spent $60 then $30 or something for the expansion pass and then $30 something for Forsaken and then $35 for annual pass, now $35 for shadowkeep. Total $190 for all of that compared to $30 for forsaken bundle and $35 for annual pass plus $35 for shadowkeep.

It’s only like $30 for the standard expansion, I’ll definitely buy the seasons a la carte but Shadowkeep looks real good.

It's only $35, yes I'm going to buy it. FFS, eververse only sells cosmetics, so dont buy if you dont want to. Literally has no effect on gameplay so it's not needed. All of the money that people have dumped into dumb ghost shells or ornaments could have paid for the expansion many times over.

Shadow Keep is none of my concern right now. Would be nice if there's an actual stand-alone Forsaken along with Cayde's Stash and Awoken's Set for $20-30. Why SHOULD I need to re-buy base Destiny 2, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind when I already have 'em???

2 RepliesNot before Black Friday, and that’s only if it’s so much better than forsaken. I came back and bought forsaken and the annual pass a few months ago for $39, not when all those noobs and the likes blind fanboys were calling forsaken great. It was definitely not for me. The only thing I actually ended up liking was the Menagerie, a product of Activision’s studios mainly. So nope, can keep their finisher moves, QOL and series of patch for their favorite clients, I’ll be playing so many other games this fall I won’t have thousands of hours to waste on grinding downgraded recycled of D1 I had hundred of thousands of kills with already.
