RX 5700 XT and Destiny 2 does not work together
At first, the game did not start and crashed with an error to the driver.
To solve the problems:
I turned off the second monitor (since freesync does not work correctly if the second monitor does not support it). (prof: https://community.amd.com/thread/234431)
Turned off relive since with it the FPS fell by 40.
The game started and it was even possible to play.
But then again (after 30 minutes) a gray screen and only sound is heard.
I think problems with drivers and / or destiny itself. (For example farcry5 has no problems, No mans sky too)

I have intermittent game crashes with destiny 2 as well since my 5700 xt install. no other issues with any other game. super frustrating!!! Patch and fix please!!

2 RepliesAny update on this since? I just ordered my 5700 XT, Destiny is by and large the game I play the most, and now I'm kinda worried.

I'm having all sorts of issues too. It's incredibly frustrating. Only have these issues w/ Destiny 2, no other game. My load times are 4-5 minutes, which causes me to time out in most cases so I'm not even able to load into the game.

1 ReplyI'm having similar problems with my 5700 XT - did a fresh windows install today, all windows updates and Radeon drivers up to date, getting Broccoli error at character select after seeing some strange artifacts on loading screen. Tried every fix I can find online.
