Got these titans running laps with this super it's ridiculous

2 RepliesBottom tree striker is OP as shit but I will say this. There is only one class in the game that shines in every activity no matter the scenario That class is Hunter. For pvp just about every subclass tree is viable except for both trees of tether and one can stretch it out to 3 shot golden gun since 6 shooter lasts just as long but is able to get way more kills in optimal conditions. In PVE, sure Hunters are forced to use Tethers in all endgame content, which really is no different than warlocks using well but I’ll get to them later. Overall the only Hunter subclass tree that is absolutely useless is bottom tree nightstalker. Because who honestly is using quiver? Hunters also have a wide range of exotics that make their respectable subclasses a force to reckon with in all PVE activities ( Raiden flux, celestial, orphius rigs, and shards of galonor) Then the rest are pvp focused primarily, the only ones I really considered god tier in pvp are stompeees, frostees, and gwinsin vest. The only useless exotics Hunters really have are the new Kephris stings. Warlocks are the middle man. For PVE they have the best subclass in the game. As of now you aren’t getting endgame content done without them because Bungo deliberately designed encounters around them. As a result of this warlocks are entirely forced to crutch on well of radiance or better I say middle tree dawnblade. For PVP, yes warlocks have some pretty nasty supers and neutral game( dawnblade, storm caller, nova warp) , but their movement ( except for blink with astrocyte) will always keep them in line in crucible. There’s a reason why you have hardly ever seen a full fire team of warlocks in crucible. Like Hunters, Warlocks are also viable on all aspects in the game, but their focus is in pve more than pvp because their jumps are a pain for the average player to master, meanwhile hunters have instant verticality. Warlock exotics for the most part serve to only decrease a cool down of some sort on one of their abilities. Their best exotics are fully dependent on how good the subclass is in their respective activity. That’s why Lunafaction boots is the automatic go to for PVE because warlocks mainly use well. For pvp like hunters they have many good exotics ( astocyte, crown of tempests , contraverse holds, and transversive steps ) being the Crown Jewels. But even the majority of the others are still viable depending on your play style And then there’s Titans. For PVE they really aren’t forced to use anything, maybe top/ middle tree sentinel when content is just that difficult ( prestige ogre menagerie) besides that it’s the typical melting point with top tree sun breaker, but since majority of bosses have a OHK stomp melting point in endgame is damn near useless. Burning maul suffers nearly the same problem as you have to get close , but unlike top tree middle tree has the Benefit of stun locking some bosses with the use of burning maul. For PVP yes, we all know how strong bottom tree striker is. It’s the most lethal super in the game atm. It’s also one of the only viable subclasses titans have crucible. Sentinel is good because suppressing enemies is always a good thing to have but shield bash remains inconsistent at best. The only reason why is isn’t been fixed is because shield throw exists which has ridiculous tracking. As for exotics it’s the same regardless of PVE or pvp, and that’s one eyed mask, peregrine greaves, lion rampant, synthoceps ,warmgod caress dunemarchers and saint 14. The only exotics I’d consider god tier are literally only one eyed mask, and synthoceps. And yes the aeon exotics on all 3 characters are absolutely useless. There’s a reason why hunters are the most played class in destiny, it’s been like this from the beginning. They have the easiest jump and some of the best subclasses/ exotics in Destiny 2. Bottom tree night stalker is the only outlier because it’s the only thing Hunters have that is truly bad. Every other subclass/ exotic can be argued but none are useless other than quiver. No matter how strong warlocks seem they will always be limited because their movement is the hardest to master, thats what will always set them back in comparison to hunters, because just about every warlock subclass is good/ decent in some way shape or form and they are all complimented by their exotics. Warlocks have no subclass tree that is useless. It’s just that in PVE well of radiance tops everything warlocks have. As of now warlocks are the strongest class in PVE. Hunters were the strongest before well came along. For PVP it’s all subjective Hunters were the definite strongest before bottom tree striker and one eyed mask. but that’s just one subclass tree and one exotic. Hunters and warlocks both have many subclasses and many exotics that are god tier in PvP. Why is it Hunters have ruled the mayhem playlist ever now more than ever because of shards of galanor? And why do they have the highest player count? For weapons/ armor alike it’s popular because it’s the best, but why doesn’t this logic apply to subclasses ? So for Warlocks and Titans the outlier subclass they have are the strongest, for Hunters the outlier subclass is the weakest. What does that say about the 3 classes overall?

I agree. When I run it, I could be at the bottom of the leader board for my team, but when I use it, I’ll get about 4-5 kills easily and jump up to second or Third place. Combined with the eternal warrior helm, it’s reall op.

Edited by GodRealmRAIGA: 8/17/2019 1:46:09 PMBungie need to find a way to have supers be effective in PVE without being total shit broken in PVP and bottom tree striker is shit broken in PVP. It lasts a lifetime because you get super back on kill (without an exotic), you get aoe smash and the shoulder charge spam in super makes it nearly impossible for anybody to get away from you and makes it difficult for them to even hit you in super. Shits ridiculous. You get killed on one side of the map and get killed by the same titan in your spawn on the other side of the map.

6 RepliesEdited by ElectroHail: 8/13/2019 8:49:29 PMCan I just play PVE as a Titan in peace? God damn
-
4 RepliesYou have 3 hunters! You have no right to ask for a Titan nerf!
-
51 RepliesEveryone this guy has 3 hunters Just ignore him Text book crybaby hunter
-
3 RepliesIt's fine in PVE. If they can't adjust it in PVP without weakening it in PVE, it should be left alone. Sorry.
-
1 ReplyHi people who disregard op because he only has hunters so it ends up "lols, it's just a hunter cry baby" I use titan with OEM bottom tree striker. Titans are bullshit EZ cheese mode. Just this week I went on my hunter to get some menagerie done and was to incredibly lazy to switch my weapons back even though I use that one app. So I've been playing my hunter again. I've become a worse player for crutching on having wall hacks and getting a huge chunk of brainless super kills. It has been refreshing going back on hunter though but then again getting bullshited by titans makes me want to go back immediately to bullshit them back lol

2 RepliesNerf this nerf that nerf nerf nerf nerf nerf, never ends

10 RepliesEdited by The Chosen One: 8/16/2019 4:03:09 AMEveryone must stop asking bungie to nerf things. Bungie has been nerfing things since before Destiny 2. I shall be so kind to make a list. (not in chronological order and some will be from destiny 1) Scout rifles Ace of Spades whisper of the worm well of radiance lord of wolves Sleeper simulant (ricochet damage) Auto rifles (destiny 1) And many more. And now I shall be even kinder to make a list for nerfs that all the scrubs are wanting to add. Erentil Jotunn shoulder charge warlocks supernova one eyed mask hunters abilities STOP ASKING FOR NERFS, JUST GET GOOD (I am a hunter who's been playing since D1 and I speak for all hunters when I say he is not one of us)
-
I have the simple solution, in order to beat the cancer you must become it, yes that includes deleting one of your hunters

14 RepliesThe long super duration makes it strong, but shutdowns like aggressive rockets, blade barrage, nova bomb, and shadow shot stop it in its tracks. Spectral Blades is also a hard counter for this due to its ability to withstand the first hit, whether its shoulder charge or smash, and then get in two hits before the titan can attack again.
-
Someone actually said it? Seriously though... that super needs to be tweaked NOT NERFED. Just like the blade barrage and nova warp it needs adjusting so it's fair and balanced. Then again... titans usually will not want this.
-
7 RepliesAnd the nerf wheel keeps turning. I said, "Once they nerf spectral blades, everyone's gonna start -blam!- about bottom tree striker because this community never changes and never learns."
-
5 RepliesAny calls for nerfs while the buffs are available in the game are irrelevant
-
I love playing striker titan and bashing people with the full might of thor harnessed into my knee cap, but we all have to agree the super lasts wayyyyyyyyyy too long
-
they said they‘ll fix (or something like that) PvP in shadowkeep, so let’s wait and see.
-
Yeah, the super is OP, but Crucible is shit anyway. I'll happily run laps on a bunch of -blam!-faces using fusions, Jotunn and whatever other cheap garbage they have

17 RepliesI average about 25 to 30 kills a game in the crucible on my hunter. For solstice, I needed to play on my titan for the armour, played pvp. I decided to use OEM and bottom tree striker. I got 50 kills three times in a row. If that doesn't show that they need a change I don't know what will. The fact that the super can wipe a team with ease, then do it again twice is absurd. And while everyone says "but hunters and warlocks had their fun with novawarp and spectral blades, they were also absurd and got nerfed (eventually...). So why should this not be nerfed?
-
In pvp maybe but leave it alone in pve.
-
3 RepliesBottom tree Stryker is nowhere near as bad as the spectral blades/shard barrage bullshit ever was. (Or nova warp for that matter). You had your fun, twice. Play nice, it's someone else's turn.
-
2 RepliesLolololol you deleted your other hunters 😂😂😂
-
Edited by Pocket Fox: 8/13/2019 4:20:06 AMYeah, but you have to put on an exotic armor piece to extend the duration... Oh wait, wrong class.
-
I usually only run top tree for the extra grenade and shoulder charge. The last few days I tried the bottom tree and I can usually get 5-6 more to kills per game quite easily. Now if I add the OEM to that... I figured I try it out before it gets nerfed. To be honest, it does last quite a while, maybe too long. A couple of games I killed the same guy twice. One time at one end of the map and again at the other side. If they nerfed the Nova Warp and the Spectral Blades for essentially the same reason, it’s going to happen.
