im pretty sure the only exotic i have left to acquire from random engrams is the arbalest, so i was looking forward to going to xur this weekend and buying a fated engram. the description clearly states that it will provide a new exotic if any remain to be found, yet it gave me the jade rabbit, an exotic ive had since before curse of osiris even came out.
im pretty sure the only exotic i have left to acquire from random engrams is the arbalest
And we are pretty sure this is asked and answered every weekend. The Fated Engrams cannot give: - Exotics from the Annual Pass (which includes Arbalest). - Exotics rewards from quests/pursuits. - Exotic armor for a different class than what claims it.

1 ReplyEdited by RedPhoenix HD: 8/9/2019 5:56:02 PM::sigh:: Xur's engrams will not give you exotics from Annual Pass events, pursuit-locked, triumph-locked, raids, or special events. It also will not give you exotic armour for a class other than what you pick it up with (i.e. Warlock cannot get Hunter armour). This has been the case since the start of Destiny 1. It was only recently that they added the general Forsaken loot pool to the mix, but that does not include Annual Pass items. :: you could have found your answer with a simple search since it's been asked over and over and over again since the beginning of the series ::

Edited by Invertex: 8/9/2019 5:56:45 PMFated engrams only give you exotics up to Forsaken released ones. All exotics that came in newer seasons after that have to be found. Once you have all Forsaken and older exotics, the Fated Engram will give you duplicates. This isn't terrible though, as there's a chance to get armor, which will have random rolls.
