Can we get more raid Amor like the D1 sets?
The D1 raid sets stood out so much more and when the age of triumph came out the ornaments made the sets look even crazier. I’m not saying that the raid armor from D2 is bad not at all (with some exception) but like the vault of glass ornaments where crazy and cool. Something like that should be done for the Black Garden raid in shadowkeep. Like how the legs on the warlock and hunter became vex legs that was sweet. Or like the Kingsfall and Crotas End gear looks like you took parts of the hive and made them into armor. You could definitely tell that it was raid gear and it stood out. Also the WOTM gear was crazy too people knew you had done these raids. Sometimes when I put different shaders on D2 raid gear I get asked what kind of gear it is and I don’t think that should be the case. Just my opinions though.

I would just like to see more Destiny 1 armor in general, especially the shit that the Speaker sold as a vendor.

8 RepliesWe need more Titan arms that don't have ridiculously large shoulders. If you hate the "I'm a walking boulder that realistically shouldn't be able to see left or right, nor move my arms with any degree of flexibility" aesthetic then you have the choice of the Y1 Titan planetary set gauntlets, or two Eververse gauntlets. Paywalling mod-able, more aesthetically pleasing gauntlets, is lame.

1 ReplyPretty much all of the original Destiny armour looked better than the garbage we have in D2. Raid armour really popped and was a rare sight. Remember the Psion Flayer Mantle that was strike specific loot that made your Hunter look like a badass, now all we get is mismatched junk that has clipping issues. I don't know if they changed the design team but the armour and weapon designs have got worse.

2 RepliesTitan armor has bee horrible since D2 came out. Only a couple sets are decent looking like the Rasputin set or the EDZ set for me. Idk if it’s new artists or what but gear has been becoming less and less appealing

How about we take a look at Bound by Flame. A game where each armor improvement made a change to the armors appearance. Added spikes for defense? Literally adds spikes. Sensible things like that in middle market games made by barely AAA devs is crystal clear proof Bungie is inept at customization.

The kabr Titan armour will always be my favourite armour, the crota armour was awesome too especially when they added the ornaments for it

1 ReplyEvery armour set looked better in d1 than d2. Not just the raid armour. Literally never been happy with any of my characters looks. Everyone always looks the same. Dark shader, similar legendary gear.

8 RepliesForget just raid armour, armour in general needs some help and quite frankly the sets I saw revealed for Shadowkeep give me no hope. Like seriously the Titan set is just a goddamn spacesuit? and the other 2 classes just look like cobbled together messes? I'd rather stick to my soon outdated Y2 Reverie Dawn set or just wear the Solstice 2.0 set we will be getting then wear that awful looking Y3 2.0 stuff.

In the vidoc they said they didn't want to go too RPG before but will be going "all out" in shadowkeep. theres even some pretty sick looking armor in the background on some screen which is obviously just conceptual or in development but It looks like armor is going to get better come shadowkeep

Tell the old-timers it's time to retire and hire fresh blood or, hope for a miracle because that gear they showed looks like crap, in fact, most of the gear in D2 does. Since a miracle will not happen, your best bet is to hope they will retire the old-timers.
