1 ReplyEdited by Uncanny_Vale: 7/31/2019 8:57:08 PMThat really sucks. The only advice I’ve got is to write a journal. My dad passed away from cancer a few years ago and for the last year of his life he kept one. He would just write down his thoughts, his feelings and his memories. He would also write down the things he wanted to say to us which he couldn’t say in person. It was a great way to help him deal with what he was going through. It‘s also a really precious thing for us to have now he is gone.

I don’t even know you, but I still teared up, I’m extremely sorry and I have no other words. I cannot comprehend what’s going on in your life, I still hope that there might still be hope, but I don’t want to give false hope, if and when you go, I pray that it’s peaceful (I don’t know if that comes of as rude or insensitive, but please trust me it’s not) Anyhow, you go sue their asses!

No one your age deserves to die. You still have your whole life ahead of you. Please fight. Not just for yourself, but for your family, friends, and everyone you care about. Fight as hard as you can. Make peace with those you’ve wronged and those who have wronged you. Say the things you’ve always wanted to say. Experience the things you’ve always wanted to experience, but most importantly, never give up. Take this affliction and crush it underneath your heel as you roar to the world ”I. Will. Not. Lose.” A doctor’s prognosis can often be wrong. And at the end of the day, if all that wasn’t enough, you can at least find peace in the fact that you did all that you could, but it won’t come to that. I believe in you. We all believe in you. Godspeed.

2 RepliesEdited by SpongyMallard7: 8/2/2019 5:20:30 AMMaybe this will give you some hope. Both my parents are cancer survivors. My mom has been cancer free for almost 20 years now. My dad had stage 3 sarcoma. The chemo wasn’t expected to do much to the tumor the size of a baseball. When the doctors did the surgery to get the tumor out, it was 95% dead. The doctor said he has never seen something like that happen in his life and said it had to be done by God because it being that dead from chemo was impossible. Prayer does work and both my parents are living proof.

2 RepliesEdited by ZoniCat: 8/1/2019 12:07:20 AMThere are a great many things to take into account with how you proceed in your sunset months, but whatever you choose to do, do so with care and empathy I plead. I will not tell you how to live your life, it is not my place, nor is it the place of any of us. But I can only recommend to make peace with not only those who it is easy to forgive, but for those who have done the most harm to you. If you do come to pass, you will be mourned, that is without question. Offtopic is not made of the best or worst people in the world, but from what I've seen in the past, it is a unique form of family, and a tightly knit one at that. In case of the unfortunate circumstance that we don't speak again, Goodbye. And say hi to God for us, please.

3 RepliesWhy not start a gofundme or a kickstarter so you can hire a really good lawyer? I don’t think even $10k would be enough to win against anyone in the medical field.
