Would it become a top tier meta monster if the screen shake was removed? I'm generally confused... Like we have other omolon autos that don't go crazy or give you that earthquake feel

Boy be having seizures shooting that

25 RepliesHard light's screen shake is an urban legend. Michael J. Fox says it's the smoothest firing weapon in the game.
-
Why does hard light have screen shake? because its sh1te.
-
So you could see what it's like using a jackhammer at a 90 degree angle
-
3 RepliesBecause it has no damage fall off and stupidly low recoil?
-
because it has a speech impediment....dont judge.
Would it become a top tier meta monster if the screen shake was removed? I'm generally confused... Like we have other omolon autos that don't go crazy or give you that earthquake feel
Being completely honest I’ve never really been a PVP player in D1 or D2 however when I do the HL is my go to weapon. I’ve been destroyed using it in Reg Crucible but have been a H.O.H, H.O.T & H.O.W in Iron Banner melting the jack rabbits, two legged tanks and floating men who chose to wear dresses . Not sure if it’s the “enabled power level” but its hits like a AR should: in my opinion. The shake has never really been an issue for me as I just start my ADS targeting at the waist areas or the center mass of my opponent and the gun walks up to the neck or head and by that time they are confirmed kills. It is also a beast with assist kills when your team is acutely running as a team: it’s a good starter and finisher. The last day I spent in Iron Banner witnessed some of the opposing shooters backing off when they saw the elemental rounds bouncing off the walls and basically bending corners for some minor damage. I have never put the long range perk to the test but at mid-range I wouldn’t have anything else. I mean if you enjoy shooting in PVP and not one of these “one shot” or “supers only” kinda players and actually like to feel like you put effective rounds on a target it’s the tool for you.

I believe it would. Infinite range, max stability, overpen, richochet bullets, and .8 sec ttk... they had to do something to make it so annoying to play with that noone would use it outside of Nightfalls
-
Hard light is secretly filled with coffee so the screen shaking is from all that hyper tension.
-
1 ReplyIt's the trade off for the perks you get with it. I get it's annoying, but it really needs something like that to balance out the very strong perks that it has. Believe me it would be much more annoying if you were getting sniped with this thing over and over in pvp, which is what would happen without the sceen going nuts lol

1 ReplyHardlight doin' more twerkin' than killing.

6 RepliesWhy does screen light have hard shake?

2 RepliesYou know what would be a fun, or -blam!-ed up drinking challenge. Get hammered, then start the Warsat public event on Mars, experience that horrible screen shake, then just start firing hard light. First one to puke loses.

5 RepliesEdited by Delta: 7/24/2019 1:47:34 PMI can't deal with it any longer than 45 minutes. My eyes are strained to death and the headaches kick in.

Because they want everyone to use HC's.

I had the catalyst drop last week and got a bit hopeful and excited. Finished the kills to complete it which made it a tiny bit better, but (and I never thought I’d say this) almost immediately switched back to an SMG.
-
Because it has no damage fall off so no recoil would break the gun
-
It shakes cause Hard Light’s name is literal. You are shooting hard Light.
-
2 RepliesIt has absolutely no range drop off. With no screen shake, it would be able to laser people across the map, which they don’t want. So balancing problems is the short answer
-
2 RepliesMy question is why does it have recoil? It's just shooting light, not bullets.
-
It's supposed to make you feel like you're having an orgasm.
-
I just finished the catalyst yesterday and it shoots on a line, but the shaking is annoying.
-
May be connection issue?
-
18 RepliesIt would be meta if it didnt have screenshake yeah. No damage dropoff and able to do double damage.
-
1 ReplyThat's nothing - you should see Micheal J Fox play with the Hardlight. looks like a star wars movie.
