Hi Diganz. Is your friend game sharing Forsaken? If they are, they can't start this quest until they actually own it.

Thanks. They purchased Forsaken on June 6. New players are eligible for 21 days to start this quest, so their last date of eligibility was June 27. They are now considered a new player and can't link up with you.

We attempted to link up during most of June, but were unsuccessful. I understand it's too late now, but do you know what could have caused this? I would like to avoid this in the event I refer another friend. Also, what happens to the pursuit on my character? Should I just abandon it?

There were some issues on our end that occurred in June, so players weren't able to link up for a while. It's unfortunate that it occurred but we extended the new player eligibility from 7 days to 21 days to try to resolve it.
