Overall I've enjoyed playing Destiny 1 and 2 over the years and found it to be very entertaining not withstanding a few extremely irritating tendencies the staff seem to have. Chief among those is the tendency to nerf weapons/gear after they've been released. This is TERRIBLY FRUSTRATING because: a) everyone has the same opportunity to earn the same weapons/gear; b) those who do earn them invest personal time playing the game only to later have the item(s) nerfed (not to mention that acquiring most desirables is very "grindy" and less story/farming related. Think Borderlands series folks). Another complaint I have is Bungie's DLC policy. I've paid for the higher dollar versions of 1 & 2 to receive additional DLC. Then, after a couple DLC's, end up having to pay for DLC even though it's the same series iteration (i.e. 1 or 2). Here again when I buy more deluxe/platinum/etc. versions of other titles ALL DLC IS INCLUDED until the new series title comes out (as it should be, THAT'S WHY I PAYED THE EXTRA $$$!!!). I heard from a friend today that Bungie intends to essentially penalize players who acquired the Bad Juju by exploiting the glitch. Admittedly I am one of those players. For me this is the last straw. Virtually every game has glitches that players exploit until patched and this is the way of it. I've no problem with companies patching a glitch (as well they should) and I've no problem with gamers exploiting a glitch since all have the opportunity to do so. However, for Bungie to turn around and penalize players for exploiting any glitch especially after having invested ACTUAL MONEY to purchase the game and then personal time playing is beyond ludicrous. Fix the game and let it be. 'Nough said! Those complaining about folks exploiting a glitch, get a life! If Bungie does actually penalize said gamers on this issue be advised that I will not purchase Shadowkeep, I will not purchase Destiny 3 nor any other future title. At this point I am happy spending my money on titles from companies who do a better job offering content and who do not penalize players for their company's own mistakes. This is not a threat, just telling you folks at Bungie where I stand. I've several friends and clanmates who feel the same way. Good luck Bungie. We'll see what you decide.
