I know you don't care, but I'm going to try to impart a bit of wisdom to you and this thread. There are two kinds of racism. The first is overt. The Overt racist is the guy who is in your face. He's using slurs. He's calling you names. He's openly using (usually) what little power he has in this world to attack and punish you because he hates and fears difference. His self-worth may also be attached to a sense of superiority over you. So he needs to run you down and "level" you in order to feel-less-bad about himself (All bigotry is projected self-hatred). The overt racists is usually someone who is not particularly well-educated, sophisticated, or powerful. The other is covert or subtle. The Covert racist is the kind of racist that you meet in higher levels of society. He's usually well-educated. He usually has some measure of power. The open expressions of racism (like the use of slurs) would damage his social standing in the parts of society he operates in....so he finds way of expressing his hatred and fear that are more subtle and leave the possibility of "plausible deniability' (Who me?) Which is the card you are trying to play right now. Plausible deniability leaves room for the covert racist to GASLIGHT you when you confront or challenge him on their behavior. But what gives away the covert racist is that his behavior also falls into common, recognizable (unimaginative) patterns. 1. Double standards. The same act committed by someone white gets a very different reaction than the same act committed by someone who isn't (for example blacks being punished more harshly by the justice system for similar crimes than whites) 2. "Screeds" I put screeds in quotations because its not the dictionary definition of the term...but it will serve in this case. "Screed" in this sense are attitudes that people take where they say and do things that reveal a prejudiced attitude behind it, although the act isn't bigoted on its face like the actions of the overt racist. [i] [b]Trump is an unreconstructed, unapologetic covert racist. [/b] [/i] Has been since the 1980s and made that clear with his response to the Central Park Five situation. Double standards and screeds are his perferred form of communication to his like minded voters is in the coded language of double-standards and screeds. a. Referring to countries home to peoples of color as "shit hole countries" (He has never referred to the impoverished countries of Southern and Eastern Europe in that fashion). b. Attacking people of color that he is conflict with with implied racial stereotype. Like calling Maxine Watters "stupid". ("Since we all know that Negroes are less intelligent than Whites...." c. Referring to Latin American immigrants as "-blam!- and thieves". But never talks about the high prevalence of organized crime in immigrants (once again) from Eastern Europe. TLDR: What Trump did to the "Squad" is a screed I've encountered multiple times in my own life, and had directed to me personally. I call it the "YOU SHOULD BE SO GRATEFUL" screed. What Trump did is covertly racists on a number of levels. 1. He basically tells the four women that they are NOT American in his eyes, and they never will be. "Go back to where you came from.....those countries". Well for three of the four of them. WHERE THEY CAME FROM IS THE UNITED STATES. They are natural born US Citizens. They are more "American" than the First Lady and her family of Origion. 2. He basically tells them that America belongs to white people....and that they are only allowed to live here at the sufferance of White America. That this is THEIR country....not ours. 3. He basically telles them that YOU SHOULD BE SO GRATEFUL THAT WE ALLOW YOU TO LIVE HERE IN OUR COUNTRY.... ...that you should never dare to criticize US....or how WE run it. Nevermind the FACT that to do so is the JOB that they were ELECTED to do by their constituents in OUR democracy. You should also be grateful because all you have is what WE have given you, because you've never legitimately earned anything of your own (LOL....coming from a man became rich the old-fashioned way....he inherited it.) 4. Then there's the double-standard that he has NEVER taken that tact with any of his critics who happen to be white. 5. Its not the first time he's done something like this....and even Kellyanne Conway pulled similar stunt against a Jewish reporter that questioned on this situation. She is reported to have known that he was Jewish when she demanded to know "Your ethnicity" on camera and on-air. Doubling down when the reporter correctly deflected the intrusive and shockingly inappropriate question by pointing out its irrelevancy. But what SHE was doing was trying to use his ethnic minority status to try to malign his objectivity. IN any other Presidential Administration she would have been fired that day. ...and that clearly anti-Semitic move doesn't even get you criticized by this travelling White Nationalist ciricus.

Either everyone is subject to insults or no one is. You either get to insult Trump and let him insult "the squad" or you don't get to insult Trump and he doesn't get to insult "the squad."

“Go back to where you came from” means “return to the womb”. According to liberal ideology, humans within the womb are arbitrarily not considered human. Therefore, because of this mental gymnastical labeling, abortion is fine because it’s just a bunch of cells being murdered. Trump is telling these people to get aborted. Abortion is good, according to the Left, because it demonstrates the highest form of feminism: control over one’s body. However, due to the existence of the concept of transgenderism, femininity is just a social construct, so when a man says “I feel like a woman” he’s speaking gibberish because there’s no such thing as “man” nor “woman” so all the effort and money spent on surgeries and treatments to change one’s appearance is for not, because pining to look like a man or woman is circling back to feeding the social constructs of society. Instead, people should just learn to “be”. He’s telling four non-white congresswomen to “go back to where you came from” (despite the fact that three of them were born in America and aren’t immigrants at all). If you can’t see how that could be perceived as racism I don’t know what to tell you. It shows a prejudice and double standard directed towards non-white immigrants. There’s an insinuation that if you are not white and born in this country you can’t possible be a “real” American. He’s assuming that non-white immigrants aren’t really one of “us” and therefore shouldn’t be entitled to an opinion like “real” Americans are. Their opinions and criticism are not valued the same as other Americans - they should remain silent or get out of the country. Secondly it’s his laughable assumption that they were all immigrants to start with. Just because they have brown skin and funny names I’m assuming?
