Stop tieing crucible to every exotic quest line

For christ sake just stop it... Edit: I see most if not all of you that replied misunderstood so let me enlighten you all. 1. I'm not referring to the lumina, I got that weapon a day after release. 2. Just because I have my grips with crucible being forced in a lot of exotic quest steps doesn't mean I'm incapable of getting the weapon. 3. Everyone that plays destiny aren't God's at pvp, I notice a lot of people saying get good but yet there k/d says otherwise. 4. To the ones that say stop winning cause bungie won't listen to you anyways, just know that I already knew that and also this post was made out of frustration not cause I wanted to get their attention. Overall idk what it is with (crucible sweats) feeling like they have to look down on you just because you don't meet the k/d quota in a activity 20% or less of the player base plays, there's simply players that are better doing PvE things over pvp and in vice versa. It's not that serious...

Same here I play the game with my wife, and she hates PVP, but loves PVE, exploring, puzzles, even raiding. Questing is a PVE thing PVP should never be part of a PVE ever its 2 separate worlds. Its a shame you PVP'ers and apparently Bungie lack the brain capacity to comprehend this. Its nothing to do with your skill level or persistence nor about getting good with PVP, some people just hate PVP period. Doing PVE Quest's and unlocking exotics should not include doing PVP tasks and vise versa to progress your Quest. If it stated that its a PVP exclusive then fine. But it seems that every 2nd quest in destiny is tied to PVP in one way shape or form, Easy answer is split the PVE and PVP as it should be.

  • I literally played 3 Crucible quick play and 3 gambit matches to finish up the 2nd to last quest step for Lumina.

  • Complaining about the <8 crucible quest steps in the game when 90% of this game is pve or requires you to play pve 💪🔥

  • They can do whatever they want. I still don’t understand why you people think you shouldn’t have to play certain parts of the game.

  • Isn't it great if you aren't a 24/7 Pee Vee Pee'er? Every match has that vibe that the people in it do only crucible quickplay in D2 and have been there hours before you started your first match.

  • You need to understand that pve and pvp are part of bungie....pvp players are also forced to do pve quest steps too. They could also post the same thing "why they gotta do pve quests." How would you respond to that...smh...good thing bungie wouldn't listen to you as you aren't being fair and you are not the entire body of players on here.

      • Then I want to get Acrius, Thousand Voices, Anarchy, and Terrabah from PvP only. It's only fair, especially considering raids have less than half the population of PvP consistently.

        • I've come to an understanding that theres no PVE in this community without the PVP. Likewise with the other way around. Yin and Yang. I've come to accept it tbh

Stop tying exotics to raids. If you want something bad enough you’ll suck it up and grind it out. Or don’t.

          • I don’t like PvP either but I found that Rumble is a great way to get PvP stuff done if mayhem isn’t available.

The amount of people who participated in a pvp activity yesterday is 84% of the number of people who participated in a PvE activity. Like it or not, a lot of people play pvp daily even when they don't have a quest or bounty. There is no reason why there shouldn't be atleast 1 pvp step in a 7-10 step exotic quest. • Thunderlord didn't need PvP in the quest line. I think it's fine if some quest need it and some don't. It gets players out of their comfort zone so the can try new content or revisit content they may have not liked in the past. You never know, you might like it or maybe change your mind. Some exotics, it makes sense too, like PvP themed exotics.

            • Except more exotics come from pve, and a few with pvp steps. Exotic quests lean more towards pve. So, like, stop forcing pve on pvp players lol

              • How many weapons can you get in destiny? How many of them require pvp? How many require pve? Answer those questions and you will realize there should be more weapons for pvp related content.

              • You don’t have to be a god at PvP to finish the crucible steps of any of the quests. If the older people in my clan (in their 50s and 60s, one of them turning 70 this month) can manage to get TLW and Thorn then you can probably handle it. Both of those weapons have PvP quest steps because they were introduced with PvP in mind. As someone who doesn’t mind PvP but can’t stand PvE, why do I have to drag myself through PvE steps for weapons I want? Because that’s the way it is. I don’t make a paper on the forums because I had to go do something I hate doing. I just did it.

              • I think you should have 2 options. A pve step and a pvp step. In some stages one is easier to complete then the other to make them balanced

Stop being lame. After 5 years, noone cares if you or anyone doesn't like going into crucible to complete a quest.

                      • Personally, I'm with you. I'm also against losing progression in a quest. My connection is not the most stable, so I tend to lose out on PvP because of it.
