Put all shotguns,sniper rifles,and fusion rifles in the heavy slot.
Problem solved all the way around.
Don't just do it to one gun that is available for everyone to get and have.
Also if sounds like it's more of a problem on pc than anything.

At least that borefest actually made the game balanced, players would actually work together and flankers would benefit more if they would flank correctly. You hate it because it takes more skill to use a primary than rely on special weapons to get easy kills. You know whats really a borefest? Everyone running around with one shot kill weapons and annoying ability spam.

Hunters still ran Rampant with Wormhusk getting their health back just for dodging and almost guaranteeing the win because the ttk was so high. Everyone was holding hands and sitting in lanes teamshotting too scared to enter 1v1, 1v2 engagements. That’s why they brought Special weapons back. Excitement and playmaking ability. And since you think you know me why don’t you look up my stats and see what my most used weapon in the crucible is know it all.... Then we are back to boring vanilla d2 with all those back in the heavy slot. How about we dont change the whole game for pvp problems. Crucible is a quarter of the game.

Yea but unfortunately it's the reason this game is failing as well. The weapon change was for PvP so those no skill players could one shot people with this weapons. Also it's not boaring it makes you play a different way instead of playing like Destiny 1 all over again.

I dont necessarily think the change was for pvp only. It also gave pve players the ability to use snipers, fusions and shotguns as well as rocket launchers and grenade launchers. Instead of having to choose one of those for the heavy slot. Def brought more diverse loadout options for the whole game in general.

We went from 7 choices in the heavy slot to 4. An I'm minusing heavy mg. If I add that weapon we would have 8 choices of heavy instead of 5. It limited what was in the heavy slot. It was fine as it was.

Back when I could use a shotgun,sniper rifle,and fusion in my heavy slot i used them all the time. Now my heavy is barely used.

Obviously it wasn't considering how many players LEFT after the first month. And how much variety was there having two primaries. I'd much rather have only 4 heavy types and tons of options for my other two slots. The game isn't focused around pvp so stop crying
