Lord of Wolves is broken and already starting to plague crucible.

The gun is totally broken now. Hotfix?

Lord of wolves is fine. It still lacks amo. It’s amazing against supers. It’s only good at a certain distance. If they nerf it no ones gonna use it. I rather play against variety than the same thing over and over.

12 RepliesNo it’s not. You just get punished for bad play. Seeing a person standing there with flames coming out of their gun looking at you is not a good time to pop a super and charge head first at them. Hard scoping in a corner is not a good idea when other people know how to quick scope. Straight lining with a shotgun is not a good idea when some is using last word. The gun isn’t broken, bad plays should be punished

After using it for a few matches I dont think it's as broken as everyone makes it out to be. It's on the borderline, sure you can make that argument but broken? If you play against it with a pulse or scout it has no chance. Handcannon too, but you're going to be playing at a range most aren't comfortable with for a HC. Nerf is still likely though. Have fun with it while you can.

Overstated, no overg usage in general quickplay from my 50-60 games in 2 weeks, and no diff than other shotguns...sorry but this is not so overpowered. Gone up against it a few times and got killed once...out 10 times. Fusions will wipe the floor with this gun

I would say lower the body damage and increase range fall off in PvP. Make it more like a shotgun, keep chaperone in play, but also keep the value of it. Because I dont think they can do anything about the perk, just the stats

Everyone knows this by now...as many people as have said something lol. I think it's a bit of a bug from the changes they made to it. I haven't seen it much yet but I've been sniping for Revoke and haven't had any issues running into it really. We shall see as more people start using it but right now, I think we let it play out for a week or two and see what hapoens.

It's getting bad because YouTubers are promoting it and the forums are bringing attention to it. I don't have the weapon and Iron Banana is next week. Good luck. I'll keep my distance and use Jotunn.

Now that we finally have a consistent Super Blocker "Waaaah too OP!" Like, what? Seems like y'all don't even know what you want anymore. Maybe a bit hypocritical. Plus, it's a special weapon. They always 1 bang your ass anyway. Lord of Wolves is just another shotgun. Add that to the Dust Rock/ retold bunny hoppers or the Erentil/Jötunn voopers. Same old PvP to me I also feels this is simply a product of it's environment. LoW wouldn't be viable since it eats ammo like a mofo. But now that everyone and I mean Everyone is running snipers for the PvP quest, special ammo is raining like day old Halloween clearance. Especially since every video I've seen on it says that you need to run double shotty scavenger perks to make it usable because of the ammo.

Next week is IB. Should be interesting to see how many people are running around using this as like a fire, this kind of thing spreads pretty quickly, especially after a number of popular streamers are even calling for a nerf.

2 RepliesFusion rifles are more OP than the LoW. If you take away fusion rifles and shotguns I don’t think I’ve died yet in PvP besides from super and heavy 😂 Where are the pulse rifles? Auto rifles? Sidearms? Sub machine guns? I see more fighting lions than auto rifles 🤣

If you said LoW of broken people woulda laughed in your face lol. I like that they buffed what was arguably the worst shotgun in the game for pvp. How do you fix the gun so it doesn’t go back to being the worst exotic shotgun? And the problem isn’t the damage output, it’s that people figured out if you use two scavenger perks, you get 30 rounds, or 3 super bursts. The only thing that needs to change is the ammo economy for it. Don’t give so much ammo back so you can use another super burst with every ammo pick up. Would just be a back pocket melter if you have the ammo. Less ammo? Back to normal LoW. TL/DR : change ammo economy for the gun.
