Season of Opulence
On June 4, the treasure hunt begins.
Available to all players of Destiny 2, Season of Opulence will deliver new challenges, loot, and lore. Seasonal ranks for ritual activities will be reset once more, with a fresh set of Pinnacle weapons available to earn. The Iron Banner will be updated with a seasonal Quest to unlock armor. This summer, the Solstice of Heroes event returns with new rewards.
Owners of the Destiny 2 Annual Pass will receive their third extension of Destiny end-game content. Benedict-44 will be waiting in the Tower to help launch the new season. He’ll have your imperial summons, introducing you to treasure hunts, the Menagerie, and more.

Drop rates for nightfall loot are still non-existent. Another grindy, unrewarding horde mode activity that requires the exotics you idiots just ruined. Blueberries have no idea what they're doing in The Menagerie, and other players don't revive you. It's Reckoning all over again. All fun has been sucked out of the game. Progression is even more boring and throttled. Useless exotics are still useless. Good exotics have been ruined. The Menagerie activity is already over leveled for the vast majority of players. The boss is a massive bullet sponge. Scout rifles are still useless. The no-life, elitist neckbeards are out in full force, defending the idiotic changes, and talking down to people. Eververse is a -blam!-ing mess. The pursuits page is in the director for some dumbass reason. Was it really so hard to put it in the actual menu like the quest page from D1? Vendors and factions are still useless. You wasted time changing the shader icons for literally no reason. I hope Borderlands 3 puts this franchise in the dirt. You idiots deserve to go bankrupt for all the wasted opportunities and incompetent decisions that have ruined this franchise. Activision was smart to get out when they did. So are all the employees that have left your company.

3 RepliesCores are 100% still an issue Zero new strikes or story missions Another horde mode? I didnt even do the last one. Re-running the SAME exact content for almost 2 years now. What happened to buffing under performing exotics? Aeon class is still shit. Not impressed.

I like menargie, the chalice seems like a bit of a grind to be able to get anything we were promised in the trailer, other than that, the eververse update is fine

When i heard of a matchmade 6 player activity I expected wipe timers and puzzles and frustration but no, it can [b]actually[/b] be done with 6 randoms. Sure it takes time (expected before everyone got the hang of it) but i enjoyed every minute of it. Well done Bungie! Well done! Ill be heading back in as soon as i have leveled up abit and colllected some more runes.

Only treasure I see has monetary value applied to it at eververse. I’ll wait for tomorrow but I feel I’ll be 80 dollars richer in a few weeks lol

When we do earn a Bright Engram from hitting the exp cap, it’s a “Best of Year 1” Engram and we [u][i]do not[/i][/u] get a Season 7-styled Bright Engram and that the only actual way to get Season 7 Eververse cosmetics is to either throw away all of the Y1 stuff we’re getting to accrue a mound of bright dust and wait for the weekly reset in order to get what we actually want or shill out cash for the direct purchases with Silver? Hopefully, I’m just mistaken on that, but the way I see it is if they keep so much [i]directly[/i] locked behind Silver purchases and keep the prices set at the same amount, which is about roughly $5 for 500 Silver whereas simply Legendary Weapon Ornaments cost at 400, these things sure as hell aren’t gonna be selling like the hotcakes these guys were envisioning. Edit: Did the people who handle the Eververse design seriously take a note from the Fallout 76 people? Jeezus.

1 ReplyBeen playing as I'm still new to d2 and I'm really tired of all the bugs in this game. I went to the drifter and cant even get the quest with spider done and I thought that they have a spot to get abondoned quest back so I figured I do that and get thr quest back like in d1 but I havnt been able to find a place to do that. Is there even a place for that or am I just screwed and in so they really need to fix that or they shpuld owe us our money back for faulse gameplay as I did to think the enerverse could have been better to which I thought we get more stuff to use our bright dust on instead of silver but they rather seem to be more pay to play instead.

6 RepliesTwo years into this game and you're STILL making us -blam!- around with Calus. Give us something new. Don't get me wrong, i want all the old exotics i had in D1, but i dont want them as "New" paid content that would otherwise bring us actual new stuff. This is the laziest shit yet. Curse of Osiris had more stuff going on than the entire annual pass combined.

I get that Bungie are flying solo and you need money now and shit but they didn't even try!! That doesn't surprise me at all though, they'll use some shitty excuse again like they did for the nerfs to our super exotics in the first place for somehow forgetting to BUFF our other exotics to maybe REPLACE them. Nah -blam!- that though, we'll need everything and make literally ZERO effort to amend anything. It's exactly as I said would happen. Bungie once again give players choice by removing that choice. Make it all bad and players can choose more! Nope! That's not how it works. I'm no game designer but I'm pretty sure that when something good is nerfed and it still remains the only viable option, we'll still use it. So now we have worthless exotics and the reckoning encounter remains UNCHANGED. Why? Because that's last season's content, why would anyone still expect to play that when you could just play vanilla D2 content am I right? What's the excuse for this huh? What's the god damn excuse for this nonsense? Why no buffs at all? No reworks, nothing. Bungie should be ashamed. To think we supported them at all... After all this time, they show they just don't care. They'd rather pin up their -blam!-ing cosmetic shop and cram that down your throat instead. Oh and even better, there's no new exotic armour either because Bungie are able to use the excuse that people want old gear back when there's many of us who say we'd rather NEW gear. Stop listening to the few who are more than happy to pay for old content a second time! I know it's easy money for you now, but you're pushing people away.
