So sick of put in time and effort into an exotic quest only to be forced into playing garbage crucible

Be thankful it’s not Competitive wins and/or a certain Glory rank.

2 RepliesI mean, so far no Crucible step has been that hard. Tedious? Yes. Hard? No.

Here's a thought, how about giving different options to get the quests done. A PvP option and a PvE option. That way people can complete the quests in a way they can ENJOY doing. I know that enjoying a game and not playing a game to do chores is a foreign concept, but maybe we could give it try. Seemed to work for the Thorn quest. Just my opinion.

Outcome equates to amount of effort you put in. If you want it, suck it up and put in the time.

1 ReplyStop Forcing PvE in Exotic Quests as well! PvE is Boring AF and puts me to sleep!!!! Turn about is fair play...
-
Can you do some research about the quest beforehand? That way you arent investing time and then finding out later? I do this so i know if i want to chase after a pinnacle weapon. If its good, i go for it right away, if its mediocre, i just do it slowly over time.

But some or most of these exotics makes sense to do crucible due to lore
-
Outbreak doesn't. Y complain now

Edited by RingersCheckmate: 5/15/2019 1:04:15 PMThere will be crucible exotic steps, like it or not, and there’s not even half of the exotic quests that even require crucible (might even be a third). If this is the case where we can pick our quest steps make the legend of acrius have some crucible steps because I hate leviathan and the game deserves to revolve around me.

they don't force you, you make the decision to put in the time and effort if you want the weapon. If you don't want to play the activity, you don'thave to and you will not have the weapon. You don't hear pvp players complaining that they don't want to have to raid to get exotics, or have to run missions and quest steps to obtain exotics. They seem to be able to put on the adult pants, walk into the required missions and get the weapons because they WANT them.

1 ReplyIt actually makes sense that some exotics require crucible to get lore wise
-
Remember the good old days when people didn’t complain that they had to play a video game
-
Tedium and difficulty are two very different things. I may not be a big fan of some exotic quests being linked to Crucible, but they're all still very achievable.
-
You want the gun, you play the game like the quest tells you, you get the gun. Not that hard. Put in the effort or don't get it. There is no third option
-
1 ReplyDon't force me into jumping puzzles for exotic quests.
-
20 RepliesDo us all a favour and leave this forum for grownups. If you don't like crucible, don't go for crucible exotics. Easy as that.
-
3 RepliesI will never understand why people actually hate crucible. It’s actually very fun once you play it enough.
-
Its all Bungie knows how to do. Force players into modes they don't want to play. Not for me at least, I don't play into their games, I buy Destiny solely for the pve. Been that way since D1 and it will always be that way for me. I'll just have missing exotics on my collection and I'm fine with that. There are a lot more exotics to get.

Crucible is garbage, but the quests are easy! I hopped back in this game like three weeks ago after a few months away and still knocked out the Last Word and Thorn quest. You can do it.

14 RepliesEdited by jack_zedd: 5/15/2019 12:29:14 PMDon't force raid content for 1k voices.
sounds stupid, I know. Just like asking to remove pvp for a few quests
-
1 ReplyGuns who require that are connected with it since it is part of the lore/design. So deal with it.
-
7 RepliesEffort? No one’s forcing you to the quests.
