So now...
To all smart asses out there where in wording quote "In Crucible win matches and earn glory rank Fabled. Competitive and Iron Banner matches grant the most efficient progress... Iron Banner matches do not grant Glory" where it says you can't do other matches? it says Comp and IB give you the most efficient progress but it doesn't say that anything else is excluded.
It should say "In Crucible win COMPETITIVE matches and earn glory rank Fabled. Competitive matches WIN grant the most efficient progress... Iron Banner matches do not grant Glory. "

The wins can be earned in any Crucible playlist, which is why is says "In Crucible, win matches[...]" You're supposed to know that Glory is only earned in Competitive.

Had the same realization yesterday... Glory/Valor :( Just weird the wins counted across the board. Could have been stated better, honestly spend enough time looking for "There's a video for that" in the game as some stuff is really cryptic.

Yep, I saw your other thread and linked over here before replying to the smartasses. I've run into the same thing. I could go into Competitive and compete, but honestly don't feel like getting DDOS'd then banned for leaving matches. I'm not in the mood for it...ever. You know what else Iron Banner does not do? All of the Triumphs contribute 0 points to your Triumph Score. Lame.
