Hey there. Thanks for reporting your issue to us. What is your NAT type currently set to? When you play with the fireteam without your wife, do you have issues? What if your wife is with the fireteam but you're not with them?

  • Hey there. NAT is reporting as moderate in both games. Most of the time we can play together without issue, and when other people are involved it's more dependent on their end. If they are open we don't have any issues, if theirs is moderate it depends (sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's not), if theirs is strict there are a lot of issues with connecting. Voice almost never works due to NAT (not usually a problem, we use discord). These connection problems were never an issue when we were playing on PS4, which did seem to correctly open the required ports and always showed us as having Open NAT (Or Type 2 on PSN).

  • Hmmmm. Do you have Port Forwarding enabled as well as UPnP? Have you tried resetting your router to default settings then re-enabling it for UPnP?

  • I just came to the realization that I never replied to this message. Over the past 3 months the issues have gotten more consistent. Most people we play with have NAT issues for voice. This isn't a problem because we just use Discord anyway. However there seem to be a lot of times now where when one of us is host the launch button will be pulsing and unclickable. After a few minutes it may or may not let us launch. I have reset my router, but that has not made a difference. It really seems like the pc version of the game itself is not sending any sort of upnp requests to the router, so ports just never get opened up.

  • Same problem here, upnp is working fine on my router, other applications on my pc can initiate upnp no problem, but destiny 2 doesn't even seen to send the request in the first place. I really don't want to manually port forward and that isn't even an option if you have more than one person on your same network also playing with you.

  • Yep. I was hoping something would change with Shadow Keep, but if I sniff the network traffic I never even see the upnp request being made. I do not have this problem on the Playstation build, just PC.
