When you can fly to a planet and walk up to a core and obtain it like a planetary material, then lets compare them. Had cores just been another material you picked up throughout day to day activities, it wouldn't have been an issue.

 • Just said that
2. That's an admission that it's not the cores themselves but rather their availability which has been addressed and will be changed... Eventually
• Yes, and when the change is that I can literally walk up to a core to obtain it on a planet, they will have "fixed" the issue. Bungie's solution to add enhancement cores into bounties is not the change that is needed. But at the point that they make cores as easily obtainable as planetary materials, you have to ask yourself why they are even there in the first place? It still boils down to removing cores from infusion because they don't belong there. They are masterwork cores and that's what they should be used for -- masterworking items. My comment was more about your first point. Anyone who says farming masterwork cores is as easy as farming planetary materials is just a liar. Because no, cores themselves are not the issue when they are kept in their proper context which is to masterwork weapons and armor. That was a good system. Infusion is not.
