Just curious
Edit: It was pointed out to me that I should be more specific. I mean enhancement cores removed from infusion, not everything
Edit 2: just wanted to clarify, I am not for enhancement cores being removed from infusion. I really don’t care, I have plenty enough for my needs. I was just curious how many people were like me, and how many people really wanted them removed

I need more things to spend it on, wish Xur has a random Exotic Masterwork each weak I can buy with 50-100 cores.

3 RepliesDropping the infusion cost to one per piece would be a good compromise here. Keep it the same for masterworking.

What would be the downfall if they were removed? Too easy? Well tell that to the company that doesn't update their game with meaningful content with what every 6 months to a year when said enjoyable content only last for about a good month. What we have right now is ENHANCEMENT "cores" have turned into endgame grind to simply increase your level. Even if they stay. What content are you enjoying?

Exotic to exotic - no core Legendary to legendary (in the same class) no core Different class one core. Or simply add a few more places for cores. Heroic public events , 100k nightfall’s (or beating your best score) should give 5. Infusion is boring and restrictive now.

[they need to inflate the amount of cores by increasing the amount of sources and lowering the cost every process that uses them! Lower infusion cost to a core for everything and cut the core cost for masterworking in half. Then double the sources for cores causing cores to be just as useless as glimmer.]

nah, maybe only for who don't have forsaken

I think the best solution is to just drop the number of cores needed for infusion and masterworking. Say 1 to infuse a legendary, 2 for an exotic and halve the cost of masterworking weapons and armor. I personally have no problem with the system as is but do think this would be a good compromise.
