It’s the same end result (god tier gun) as account recovery but the money goes to Bungie and it would be cheaper for the people that want it. Note, it is pay to win now, there ARE people paying for this already....
Current going rate on google:
- $350 for Fabled (Lunas Howl, Recluse...)
- $1000 for Legend (Not Forgotten)
There’s a market. Take it away from the black market and give Bungie the money?
Just a thought!
PS I don’t have them and wouldn’t pay to win, this is for the people that want to.
PPS edit... I’d prefer if they just take away glory and make them grindable, making it available to all and killing the market.

3 RepliesIt’s sad to see that this is pretty much true. People will pay so much money just to have someone get the weapons for them. Another reason why bungie should ban these competitive weapons from quick play crucible and gambit

2 RepliesI hope they do and then swiftly nerf them i might have a heart attack and keel over from laughing so hard

2 RepliesEdited by dead fighter 3: 4/9/2019 3:18:36 PMI find this hilarious and sad at the same time since its so true. That people would actually pay that much for stuff like this... If this doesn't show that a nerf is needed then I don't know what does. This is worse then payed carries in Trials of Osiris. Especially since its only for a broken op gun. :\ Also love people's salt. Either they are people who want to carry, got carried, or pub-stomping fairy-boys that stroke their own ego for using a meta worse than D1 Vanilla Thorn.

Lol what a good idea I’d buy em all

1 ReplyNope. Muted.

8 RepliesCompletely horrible idea and just because paid carries exist does not justify this at all. If it became pay to win the community would riot immediately and why not just throw dirt on all the people earned it legit. If people paid for luna then you either are brave or completely stupid because this is incredibly risky and easily can cost you. Scammers exist and don't even give me no crap like its legit or that nobody would rip you off. Couple days ago you was just ripping into me for calling out bs by suggesting paid recoveries and carries exist suggesting everyone bought their luna.Hypocrisy at its finest.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this happened on the Korean servers

1 ReplyYes great idea haha. Bungos live team get the money to create new d2 content.

People have been suggesting this since before season 5. We didn’t even know how much worse it would get. Hundreds of thousands of dollars have gone to recovery services instead of Bungie so players can have LH or NF without earning it. There has been a guy who has streamed his paid account recoveries for LH since day one of Forsaken. He streams almost everyday and has new customers all of the time. That is one person who has sold literally hundreds of account recoveries. Not only would selling the guns in EV give players who want to buy them security, and instant gratification, but it cleans up almost all the undesirable element in COMP (that drives away honest players) overnight. People will still cheat and gate keep and pubstomp, but remove the financial incentive and relative lack of risk and most will stop. If they leave the quests as is so players can earn them still, or even change them to a long grind in QP (earning it is meaningless when so many have paid), then it’s not pay to win. This has been Bungies best option for customer satisfaction for 6 months or more. They will ignore it now, but you are right to suggest it. It’s the smart thing to do.

11 RepliesEdited by jack_zedd: 4/8/2019 9:18:27 PMI believe the game should not sell anything. I don't like eververse, but as long as they only sell cosmetics and it doesn't affect the overall game I can accept it. Never spent money on anything on eververse and probably won't. Furthermore, the core of this game is to earn weapons. I don't have a lot of weapons because I can't or don't want to earn them. A game like this selling weapons would be a pay 2 win game. This is game would not thrive like that. Justifying that with illegal or immoral behavior that exist does not make it right. Edit : also it is not a God tier weapon and buying won't help you become a better player. Also it should stay a comp weapon only, such as 1k is a raid only weapon.

4 RepliesNah. Guns should be earned. If people want to pay someone (for an item in a video game) to complete a task to get said item then it’s on the Studio to stop that behaviour. I’d never pay but that’s my choice and I have no problems sleeping at night without a Luna or NF.
