Another Community Summit of Streamers
Incase you missed this nugget, there is apparently another community summit coming that of course is streamers/content creators only...... AGAIN.......
Once again this proposed summit is to take place March 27-29. To discuss Season 7 and other future content..
Here is what I expect will be the first question the streamers/YouTubers will ask .... Future if Trials of The Nine/Osiris?
Not the hot button topics that populate this feedback forum such as Enhancement Core/ Infusion System Issues, the latest NERF( UNCALLED FOR BTW) patch, the OP Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten, PvP steps in quest lines(cuz Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten dominant crucible), and my personal favorite RECYCLED CONTENT FROM D1....
I personally don't see a point to have a D3 or expansion beyond the season content. D2 has been a utter disappointment that just can't seem to get anything right.
What say you community, is D2 dead or dying?

8 RepliesMy question to you is, do you think the changes that came with Forsaken improved D2, or worsened it? And I ask, because the streamer summit from Y1, helped shape Forsaken and Y2. Personally, I think Forsaken was an improvement. And am grateful for their input. As far as having streamers vs regular Joe's, streamers have communities that can pool suggestions. Any regular Joe, just has his or her personal opinion. So streamers actually can provide a more balanced feedback, than just some regular Joe, imo.

I don’t understand why people want the same rewards as hardcore players who earn what they get. This isn’t socialism... if you don’t play the game as much, don’t expect the same outcomes.. that’s how any other game works.

1 ReplyI agree, D1Y1 player here. Loved getting together with two buddies, grabbing three randoms from LFG and raiding most weekends. Those days are gone, unless you have a dedicated fireteam the high end activities have been out of reach since The Taken King. I think you hit the nail on the head, the feedback Bungie is getting is representative of a small percentage of the players. In the start up days, I had 51 people playing either on PS or XB. We could discuss the game and sometimes schedules allowed us to play together. 80% of those people never even bought D2. Out of those who did, I am the only one still playing with any consistency.

2 RepliesEvery week, Ubisoft got a live stream called State of the Game for The Divsion 2 with live Q&A in youtube. I believe that the way Bungie should do as well. Forget about the summit of the streamers or youtubers, it's only the point of views from peoples who play game for a living and not for fun.

Random rolled year 1 NF rewards? Random rolled year 1 raid weapons. Vendor refresh and random rolls every week. Heroic Public Event unique loot to chase. More Baron armour and weapons. Whisper style quest's. Random Rolled mercury Prophecy Weapons(best looking weapons by far) Gambit Prime rewards only rewarding Gambit Prime weapons and armour. 6month old gambit weapon and armour is a slap in the face for that New game mode. Random rolled Anna Bray weapons. More ikelos ep weapons to ep loot pool please with new bosses and mechanics

It makes sense that they are the ones being invited to the summit, considering that they have by far the biggest platform of all members of the community. They are also usually pretty hardcore players, A.K.A the players that stick around & are the backbone of the game. I may be remembering incorrectly, but I’m pretty sure a hardcore direction was exactly what these forums were asking for [b]all of Year 1.[/b] Like a lot of people have said, their feedback is how we got Forsaken. And on the point of listening to the average joe (even though through their subscribers & viewers, streamers have been voted for by average joes), Bungie listened to your average joe in regards to D1 Vanilla & as a result we got D2 Vanilla. Yeah, I’m happy to take my chances with streamers.

I'm having fun. Most of my IRL friends have left, but I meet new people and mostly play solo queue. I got Luna's howl a couple of seasons ago. Last season I started helping people get their own Luna's. 5 new owners and hopefully a few more this season. I'd preorder a Destiny 3. Just recently, people have been offering to help me raid. Beat last wish and scourge of the past in the last few weeks. Are there things wrong with the game? Sure. But overall, I think D2 is a pretty good value for how much time I put in.

No, I didn't hear about the Community Summit. At the point I don't care about the meeting as it seems par for the course at this point. Destiny 2 has received a lot of negative criticism other games are coming out that might pull players from the Destiny franchise so Bungie does what it does in a panic situation... For me until enhancement cores are addressed this game is dead for me.

While I want changes to things like enhancement cores, some buffing and nerfing in crucible so we aren’t just stuck in a hand cannon/shotgun meta and all year one armor/weapons brought into year 2, the main thing I want is new content. Annual pass has been a letdown so far. Small amounts of new content with the majority of the game being grinding really old content. I want new strikes, new missions like whisper and shattered throne, more new armor and weapons. Not just a small amount of new content padded out to extend grind.

heres the thing u see MOST not all people when they give critism have smart a$$ comments and such so they shouldnt be invited or have a discussion second most people will have a job or family u really think people will take time off work and away from family to critique the game at a summit streamers are probly their best options because they are basically self employed and can take a "work" on a moments notice. find a streamer voice ur complaints to them and if they are doing what they should it should get to bungie if enough people are asking for it

Yea, not a streamer and don't share your concerns, except for some nerfs and perhaps enhancement cores. Streamers would probably be able to better represent than you.

6 RepliesSorry I really don't get it. Assuming you play mostly pve based on not caring bout trials coming back. You're complaining about recycled content but you're content to run the same strike and/or raid over and over and over again? Having to do PvP steps in quests? lol how dare Bungie make you play the whole game. PvP players could say the same about having to do pve content. I understand your frustration with enhancement cores but that is only a small issue considering PvP players bought this game with end game PvP content in it, not the shamble of what the competitive play list is. Also who would you have Bungie invite to this conference? How would they rank who to invite if only judging off in game stats? They invite the content creators because they hear most about what the community want, not just a small group of people who only play with their clan members and only hear what people in their bubble want

To be fair, a good number of PvP players would ask about Trials first thing to see if there would be more coming to their side of the game.
