New DLC making ppl go back to D1
Can’t believe bungie actual thinks that sweaty gambit isn’t going to get even more sweaty with what they are doing. The release was comical how excited they were. You really think it’s gonna be legit, 3/4 of the ppl r going to want to be “the invader” cause everyone wants to be the “badass” . This is a terrible dlc and another exotic hand cannon, whoa haven’t had one of those in a while.... -_-

10 RepliesI will do a few things. 1-New scout. 2-700 LL 3-thorn 4-kill drifter 5-not play gambit 7000+ hours in destiny. Will barely touch this season. As soon as my weeklies are done and I reach the above goals, I will be gone. This is going to be a rough few months for destiny.

I actually quite like gambit prime and reckoning. Gambit prime is competitive and I love it

Born sentry right here. Until Gambit Prime I didn’t even know how many blockers I killed a game but I’m usually like 20+. I’m going for maxes Sentry. I’m enjoying it but it’s a little too sweaty for this guy. But I’ll stick with it to hit 700 faster.

1 ReplyI like story DLCs WAY more than this activity feed of things to do that feel like chores. It’s either an uninspired activity or something that is challenging just for the sake of it. I want to explore and fight WITH fellow guardians. Not battle against them for an entire season. I want to break up Fallen houses and investigate lost Vex places and prevent Hive gods from being summoned. This encroaching PvP thing that they’re doing is ruining the series for me. It doesn’t feel much like Destiny anymore.

first two games of GP my team wouldnt do any ad control, just kill the big guy and abandon the effort. lost both of them. this is gonna be a great season...

They drip feed us this repetitive, unimaginative, boring stuff, label it new content and leave the rest of the game to rot and die off... I really wish they would bring back actual DLC’s. I’d gladly pay $30-$40 or more for a great DLC with actual content! What made Destiny so fun in the past was the anticipation of what new planets and worlds we were going to visit and explore. The new stories we were going to experience and new characters we were going to be introduced to. What made Destiny fun.... -New Planets to explore -New enemies -New story Missions -New crucible maps -New vendor weapons/armor -New Strikes -New patrol zones to explore -New public events -New Raids/Raid Lairs -New characters introduced -New Exotics -New Quest’s -Open world activities and objectives -New Bounties -New activities But, what made Destiny DLC’s the most exciting and fun for me, was the anticipation of what new planet/worlds and enemies we were going to be introduced to.

I’m glad we have you to come out with your full review of every aspect of this season, great talking points like “I hate this and won’t get on cause gambit sucks” and that’s it, where’s the part about new eververse content? Where’s your take on the choice you have to make between the drifter and the vanguard? Cmon dude give me some substance or just get out cause this ain’t a review, it’s just a complaint for a season you haven’t played yet since it hasn’t released as of when I write this, get real dawg....

So... why’d you buy the pass then? You knew what’s in it. You saw the trailer for the Annual Pass. It was obviously about the Drifter, and implies Gambit content. What did you expect? Story content? A raid? Something new? If it didn’t your expectations— better yet, if you knew it wouldn’t meet them, then why did you purchase?

Now we've seen how they play out I'm really not that into this season. The tiers will no doubt be the same thing but with a higher power level. So everything we get day one, beyond the time gated quests, is pretty much the entire thing. No interest in gambit so when the main none gambit activity is for armour for gambit, then I don't really have much reason to play it.

I think Gambit would have been better as a 1 round 100 motes game. Also.. would have been better if... Invaders can't shoot... only grenade and melee... and unlimited time invading. Oh and you can't shoot invader either.. grenades and melee.

First of they said it will be sweaty more then normal second I'm going to be a reaper I kill things good and thorn is better then last word even if it's more of an ass hole gun I'd rather let last word die

I actually only invaded when the AoS quest was 5 invader kills, I’d pop over and “draw” emote to get gunned down by a handcanon I’m not a fan of invading, I just go about my business trying to get motes and bank them I might be the anomaly in this post though
