Bring the downvotes or whatever, but I feel I need to say this. I hope someone out there can make use of my positivity. I don't deny it's in a rough place but I enjoy the game and am looking forward to seeing more improvements and changes! The game certainly needs fixing in some areas but I still love it immensely!

I agree. I really enjoy playing Destiny.
-
2 RepliesI’m not. I visit these pages now to keep up to date. Playing anthem now and enjoying it despite the neg waves.
-
Sorry dude, she doesn’t make the rules. She just enforces them.
-
i did enjoy the game but, they screwed it up at launch, then later on they made it somewhat better but worse as well. it's become so tedious that i can't find enjoyment in this game very often anymore :\ it wasn't any better in the beginning either, don't get me wrong. it was pretty pointless to keep coming back to the game around it's early state, now things are just all over the place and not in a good way.
-
Yeah wrecking brain deads in the crucible is fun but that's about it. I'm not having the social enjoyment that I got from d1 because all my friends quit playing

1 ReplySame man. I love the game. Some things are super frustrating but overall I have a blast with it.
-
Me too! Definitely can be improvements but I enjoy what we have now as well. Well worth my money, put more hours into D2 then I should have and all I really wish is that there was more of it! Don’t worry about the complainers, haters are always going to hate.

Edited by Salamander: 3/4/2019 3:27:31 AMSorry to be one of the negative commenters. I'm glad you're enjoying the game, but there's a serious problem of "well the game will get better later". We shouldn't have to pay full retail price for half games and wait for a game to get better, all the while demanding $20 per DLC in hopes of content that will make the game better. Especially when you consider D1 and D2 has had the same issues of getting better with DLCs only after $100 deep in the base game and then add ons, not including collector's editions. Not to mention content that's already locked on the disc. These games should be great already upon release and then a $20 price tag per DLC is justified when it can expand on the foundations of an already great game. I'll stop ranting. Simply put, "the game will get better later" mentality has to stop. I suppose all we can do is just hope the game gets better, but it shouldn't be that way. The sad thing is when D3 comes out, a lot of people will not have learned from D2 or D1, or they just won't care.

2 RepliesBungie forums be like... "He likes it?!?! Let me tell him how is wrong!!!" ...Trigger mode engaged Funny thing is they all been playing for 5 1/2 years yet still cry like a bunch of babies.
-
I love d2 year 2. But there really isn’t much to chase at the moment. I’d love to do the year two raids a bit, but I’ve only completed last wish once. The gameplay is fantastic though.
-
I’ve played it to death, so I’m just worn out is all. Just fixing existing problems wouldn’t be enough to get me playing like I used to, I need new content. Hopefully jokers wild is much better than black armoury, but just some updated gambit and a timed horde mode won’t keep me going long. Hopefully they have more stuff like the whisper mission and shattered throne come along.

7 RepliesCongratulations. You enjoy garbage. The rest of us demand better so we improve your garbage, as we have before.
-
7 RepliesIt’s worth nothing, literally nothing.

3 RepliesI still enjoyed destiny during vanilla d2 and CoO. I put about 600 hours (that was the time I'd put in before Forsaken, but I was only able to put about 20 in from Warmind to Forsaken due to internet). I'll absolutely complain when Bungie does wrong. But I'd be lying if I said there was a better alternative.
-
The problem is that empty positivity and praise don’t do anything to encourage Bungie to address problems with the game, and over the lifetime of D2 Bungie has gotten quite comfortable with addressing problems extremely slowly or not at all. Enjoying the game despite the problems? Great. But posts like yours aren’t doing anything to help the game. I also want to point out that way too often people categorize criticisms as a whole as inherently “negative” or “toxic”, which is just not accurate. I’m not denying that there is plenty of unhelpful negative feedback on the forums, but there’s tons of useful criticism as well.

'Twas ever thus, since D1Y1... Guardians' only ever wanted this game to fulfil the potential we all knew it had...but...'They' (Bungle and/or Activision) had other ideas...and slowly, over time, they almost killed the golden goose... And it's still tottering on the brink. They (Bungle) need to come clean with THIS COMMUNITY and ENGAGE WITH US ON THESE HERE FORUMS...'cause if anyone knows more about playing this game, and all its faults and shortcomings, and, all its positive stuff, it's US! And we know where 'The Tree' is, too! Because 'They' (Bungle) refused to communicate effectively with us, the community began to drift away in such numbers, that it was and still is, quite evident, that something needs to change within the Management's attitude towards the loyal fans that have kept Destiny afloat since D1Y1 - even at arm's length. D2Forsaken brought a lot of players back into the fold, including me; but, so much has not been fixed which should have been fixed (the Vault - the viewing box that obscures everything behind it when there is a perfectly good empty space to set that viewing box to the left side of the screen, etc.; and much more has been nerfed that should not have been 'fixed', erm, sorry, nerfed... I could go on, but, you get the drift. All anyone who played Destiny ever wanted was for 'Them' to stop wrecking this beautiful game. And not to resort to greedy, grasping ways, e.g., EverWorse. I recently made a post (again) about an alternative option, akin to the Go Fast queue at DisneyWorld, or a Ski Lift 'Fast Pass', which many would understand and appreciate, and, dare I say it, probably support it, too! Anyhoo, that's just my 2d worth. YMMV Cheers! MDGA Make Destiny Great Again

400 sum dollars for both games down the road and still has quality of life problems
-
Yep. They just need to introduce the Rat King Catalyst to make it even better.

1 ReplyThere is, indeed, a lot to like about this game. But you're right, it needs a lot of work.
-
Well it's not like it's wrong for you to enjoy it you know.
-
4 RepliesDestiny 2 is actually really good. The release of a few games to compete with it has highlighted that imo
-
17 RepliesThere is so much to do compared to other games I don’t get it.
-
6 RepliesNo down vote coming here. I'm on the same boat. I still cant find myself to play any other game just because there isn't a single game that's comparable to Destiny. People complain a lot, and yet this game has got so much so many other games don't. I'm excited for season of the drifter!

I completely agree, I love the destiny universe, I’ve loved it since D1 Day 1

Been playing since year 1 Destiny 1. Guardian for life.
