I loved D2's QoL changes compared to D1, and indeed it's a nicer-looking game on Xbone than it was on 360... but then the PC version looks even better so. It's not even D2 I hate at this point, it's Bungie's total lack of response or even interest in addressing critical community issues, particularly ones that affect community security, privacy and safety that just gets to me, because those are concerns that outweigh any others. If Bungie had made clear from the outset that Destiny 1 and 2 would not use dedicated servers in multiplayer, and warned players about the dangers involved, it would be one thing, but they haven't done a single thing to warn players about possible DDoSing. Even Xbox Live has an FAQ on DDoS, but Bungie fail to mention that players playing in PvP matches are exposing their IPs to everyone else in the match every time, leaving them vulnerable to DDoS-for-hire sites? It's patently irresponsible and represents a serious and credible threat to the online security and privacy of other players, Bungie's customers who paid for the privilege to play this game. If they're not going to fix it with dedicated servers, they need to at least _warn_ their own customers about the possibility so that players will at least know to avoid playing multiplayer PvP if they don't want to get DDoSed. It is fair to say that I still love the idea and universe of Destiny.....and I still enjoy moments in the game.

It's just in a bit a of lull but I always find I dip into things I never thought I would. I found the forges tiresome and lacklustre so went for glory and actually managed to get to fabled and got a lunas. I also got a broadsword. Funnily enough I'm more attached to my last word/erentil load out. I'm loving PvP at the moment and it's keeping me going until tomorrows reset for season of the Drifter. But season of the Drifter is only the catalyst for what I'm looking forward to. I'm looking forward to seeing my clan/roster lighting up again with all the people I've met over the years so we can start getting through this content. It'll probably last a month to a month and half at most but that's what I look forward to.

Key is not to over expose yourself. Wayy more enjoyable game that way. Especially if you take breaks and let content stack up on you.

Yes and no. I still have things to do in Destiny and it keeps me entertained/ coming back, but the the grind to get some of the lackluster content is not worth it

Im meh with enjoying my gameplay as of late. The gameplay is still better than a lot of other games combined though. I personally think Destiny will really pick itself up again in year 3. However as far as Bungie rebuilding trust goes I cant give any estimate on that. They keep doing good then screwing up.

I still enjoy playing. I just don't play anywhere near the hours I used to. That's part of the draw. You can jump in for an hour or two and just unwind with some gun play. There are longer term aspects but sometimes just getting to run and gun for a little while is satisfying.

It's a good game, I wish I had time to play more.

I don't really understand where the hate comes from. I enjoy the game a great deal. Now granted, I stay away from pvp because I detest the double jumping and supers, but all the single player.content is highly enjoyable.. I don't understand why there's so much negativity. Especially considering it's miles beyond where Destiny 1(which became absolutely epic when the Taken King came out) was at this point in it's life cycle. The only thing I can think of is the pvp stuff. What's so bad about it?
