I am aware that Destiny 2 needs to make money for seasonal events and future content, but there should still be a way to get more Eververse items without having to be nickel-and-dimed.

8 RepliesBungie has made more than enough money to sustain D2 for decades. This eververse scam is simply greed manifested. It needs to go away.
-
Nothing that was in the matrix couldn't be bought with bright dust. Tess sold everything they contained at some point so you aren't losing anything. They're just adding more silver bundles as would be expected after losing activisions funding.

1 ReplyWait whats happening?

1 ReplyTo me personally, I don't see the big deal, it's 1 item a week. If you have 3 characters you get 9 not playing that much. There isn't anything that makes you better, and let's be honest almost everything you get, gets thrown into the vault or broken down into dust. Only things I use are 10% xp ghosts and some weapon and armor ornaments.

2 RepliesActually I thought that was part of the reason for the Annual Pass (AP) subscription. Remember, the Annual Pass costs essentially 50% of the overall game price (upon launch). Some how I don’t think we received an equivalent amount of content for that price, nor am I sure we will by the end of the seasons covered by the pass. I would have much less of a problem with this if they said that all of the items for sale for Silver (dollars) are REALISTICALLY obtainable in game by players that put in 10 hours or more a week playing Destiny 2 if they already have paid for the Annual Pass. This would keep Bungie from “hoarding” the really good stuff that is developed as part of the normal design process in a game (or anything creative). Keeping the good stuff in the game actually helps the game and will encourage AP purchases. Whereas “À la cart” purchases of nicer looking items (developed during the normal game development process) using only Silver will just tick off players who will feel gouged for something that should have been in game.
I am not saying that all players will be “ticked off” by this behavior. In fact, many may take a laissez faire attitude on this issue. However I strongly suspect there will be far more players that will be upset by Bungie doing this than will applaud it. I don’t think Bungie needs anymore bad feelings by its players over anything right now.
I have 110,000 bright dust I think I'm covered

18 RepliesThey don't need to make more money they just want more money. Sad thing is anthem sort of got it right with their microtransactions you can buy with shards which you pay real money for or coin you earn in the game.
-
Im fairly certain its only 1 bundle exclusive item per week, you can still get your 9 triple xp engrams a week(assuming you have 3 chars) and tess is still selling stuff for bright dust so you can exchange all those garbage ghosts and ships for something you actually want.
-
2 RepliesNot gonna happen. they really need that money now. so stop being selfish and buy all the silver you can. take out big loans and buy that silver.
-
What seasonal events and content? That was a blatant LIE.
-
2 RepliesBut they're changing it into direct package purchases so you know what you're getting and promoing a healthier monotization like Warframe, which is highly rated for how pro-consumer it is....You act like this is something to bitch over, save it for other topics. Pick your battles, guys.

48 RepliesI've literally played d 2 for less than a week and all I've heard is people complaining about eververse. It isn't like you have to have any of this stuff.
-
All the stuff is in rotation anyway and everyone who plays will get whatever they want when its available. Why does it matter?
-
Yeah, and I can't spend 100 silver on anything cuz nothing is below 200 silvers.
-
8 RepliesEdited by deltorakid2: 3/2/2019 12:05:09 AMEngrams will still be available on level up and silver dust from bounties and dismantling can still be used in the store.
-
Just don’t remove it.
-
Or... allow player to convert silver to Bright Dust and just price everything in terms of Bight Dust? Another alternative is to allow all items to be purchased for a set amount of either silver or bright dust.
-
6 RepliesWhat about Bayron Bough
-
3 RepliesSilver should drop from bright engrams. 50 per engram. Let us earn items by playing the game.
-
3 RepliesWait are they removing bright dust? Should I spend mine before the season ends then? Damn I've been waiting for the selfie emote to show up in eververse :(
-
9 RepliesI understand the frustration, but just think about it. Honestly, you're essentially missing out on 1 bright engram a week with it's removal. Thats it. You still get your 3 well rested engrams very quickly on 3 different characters. Thats a total of 9 free bright engrams a week. As opposed to 9 plus the prismatic, equaling 10(and that one is from a massively limited pool, which most likely will net you a wack sparrow, if we're being real.) But instead of that 1 extra engram, you can target and buy exactly what you want if you choose to do so. That seems like an upgrade to me compared to the current system of potentially spending $50 on engrams and not getting anything you want. I could be mistaken in that last part, so for the sake of the argument let's assume that's not how it will work. All in all, you get 1 less bright engram a week. Thats a pretty far cry from what I'd call a big deal or cause to get upset. No?
-
10 RepliesThis would be nice. I'd also like to sell my 2 prismatic facets that I have been unable to turn In for some silver.
Play the game?
Yes, give me something to do with my 100K brightdust!
