Bungie: The Slow Console Loading Times Were Supposed To Be Addressed Back in December - What Happened.?
Mine is still super slow to load. I have a PS4 Pro, with an SSD, and Gigabit Fiber, so...??

According to bakengangsta it's console player's faults for having too much on our inventory. Sounds like he works for Bungie, lol.

The development team should take some time to iron out redundant code, fix as many small bugs as they can, proofread and edit subtitles and descriptions and just in general make the game run smoother and look better. They don't even need to tie it to a major release or anything. Team Fortress 2 did this a few years ago during Summer of 2013, and it made a world of difference in terms of both looks and performance. Granted, the two are very different games, but the concept works for both.

Yup. Even bringing up my character takes almost 4 full seconds. During PvP, I respawn faster than it takes just to bring up my character screen. It's laughable. So, anytime I want to change my load out, I'm guaranteed to die at least once before I can do it. LOL.

yeah really. it is so bad. for example if you are playing pvp, when you die you do not even have enough time to switch weapons before respawn. thats how terribly slow it is. they want me to stand there afk while alive and switch weapons. this is a problem because of the shit ammo currency they use in pvp. if I don't switch while I'm alive, ill lose ammo period. garbage

Just another thing they said would be looked at that will likely never materialize. Pulling up load screen in-match is pretty much a death sentence at this point.

2 RepliesThey had fixed the loading times for going to places. I remember it taking like 6 minutes just to get from mars to the tower. Now it only takes like 1-2. As for the inventory screen times, I’m not sure what they’re doing to fix that. Not even sure if it is fixiable
