Seriously, Square Enix has made me feel so bad for Ardyn in Final Fantasy XV that I oftentimes feel sorry for killing him at the end. Sure, his only desire was vengeance upon the Crystal and the Chosen Hero, but still...

I felt bad for Ardyn before the prologue was released, after watching it I’m basically on his side. Sure noctis didn’t do anything wrong himself but he descended from a murdering monster

I’m the same way, felt bad for Ardyn before, now I’m almost on his side in the story. It’s hard, though, because I would still support Noctis and his goals every time in the end.
