Add Baryon Bough to Spider's Exchange
Afternoon Guy's
After dodging work for five min's to go on Destiny Item Manager, it's work related boss, honest.
I noticed I'm acquiring loads of Baryon Bough, with no real way to spend it.
Is there any change that you can add it in to spiders exchange, in exchange for weapons cores or Legendary Shards. It doesn't have to be every week, but sometime as this would save my vault space where I have a couple of thousand building up, as I suspect most players do.
I have noticed other planetary redeemable's pop up like Etheric Spiral etc

128 RepliesThanks for the feedback! The team is currently looking at Baryon Boughs, and ways potential ways for Guardians to exchange them. This doesn't necessarily mean Spider will have a use for them, but we'll let you know when more info is available.

No they won’t. We are listening but forgot to tell you we are deaf. Too many cores could be obtained if they were brought into the spider exchange.

I really thought dark fragments and baryon bough was gonna be something you could turn in for engrams from petra. Wasted potential much?

Allow Petra to accept them for a Dreaming City engram. This economy is so unbalanced in areas that it shouldn't be.

Doesn't it make more sense for Petra to be the exchange? Spider can be the Etheric Spiral or whatever it's called

For me it is very easy to get Baryon Bough, the exotic ghost shell for the dreaming city can help you a lot. Normally there are a lot of chests and resources everywhere in the dreaming city. I can get at least 200 in like 20 minutes.

how are people stacking so high? do any of you run ascendant challenges or get the ascendant chest in dreaming city? I'm hoping spider can sell them at some point.

just go to the dreaming city and grind them, they grow everywhere there.

I have over 3K, just from doing the "harvest 15" bounty. I wish I could trade them in for airline miles or hotel discounts.

While also a pain I just consume my tinctures and then trade my boughs (50 at a time) to hugh skull - got me down to under 999 boughs - now I avoid bough collection bounties from Petra

4 RepliesRemember that time in Curse of Osiris when the game was literally near dead with dozens of issues but Bungie reduced the time you needed to hold a button to pick up patrols in a patch with none of those issues fixed? This kind of reminds me of that.

1 ReplyTo put it in perspective, do you think you would've found all the Ascendant challenges and secrets in the Dreaming city, if you didnt have online guides? You may have found them on your own but everyone plays differently so they had to develop an economy for the destination so players wouldn't have to leave to another planet, when out there exploring and adventuring Its sorta the same reason why there's only one spawn point, they wanted us to learn the map Mostly everything done in game is done intentionally so that's why theres no "proper fix" to issues some people have
