Cheaters and bad targets acquisition and ghost bullets
Gets one taped by Luna full health
Sniped a standing still titan in that head and it gave me body shot damage. Shot a hunter in the back that was low health and fired 3 shots hit only once and didn't kill the hunter.

I continuously record people who cheat and report them. It has gotten to the point that all the people I play with say it does no good because #bungie is not listening. Lag switching is not new to Destiny as it was a problem in D1 also. When I play Crucible or Gambit it is a roll of the dice to see if there will be lag switching or we get D-Dosed. Please do something about this!!!!!!

Ever since Bungie said they were going to ban people with poor internet the crucible has been acting weird.

Yeah i just played against a “cheater”, he didnt lag at all but refused to take melee damage and he took delayed damage from most of my shots. Ive never once saw a player take no damage or receive delayed damage without also lagging around or teleporting so i reported him for cheating.

If only there was a PvP hosting system... something dedicated and reliable (like... I don't know, a server) that could host a PvP match so we didn't have to rely on a modified variant of what Bungie used 15 years ago.

Thats always been the case in destiny, no dedicated servers means half ass crucible experience

20 RepliesCrucible is a fricken train wreck and so miserable to play. At times I can shoot at a corner and the player hiding near by drops. Most times I can shoot a hunter running away from me 4 times in the body and 1 in the head nothing happens, then they turn around shoot me once and I drop. Inconsistencies, lag, DC's etc Crucible is a mess. I am at the point I cant stand playing. Don't get me started on the hackers, cheaters etc. I unloaded 2 whole clips into a Warlock with Last Word before he went down. So much fun to have Crucible ED.

People complain about one weapon or another, but in reality it is usually the connection (lag) that is causing all the problems. The weapons are just coincidental. Look at it this way - one match you are PvP gods - the entire team is over 1.0 KDA with the leaders well above that. The next game the entire team is struggling to reach 1.0 KDA. Did the team suddenly get bad? Of course not. There is just a bad connection between the team host machines. The lag can be from someone on your team or someone on the other team. It can impact the team good or bad, but mainly it causes you to be buffed or nerfed significantly. Those who get the nerf come in here and bitch to high heaven about OP weapons, "ghost" bullets, getting killed behind walls, getting one-tapped by any range of weapons, etc. The problem is in the P2P connection. This will not be solved in D2. It was just the same as in D1. Until PvP has dedicated servers, this will ALWAYS be an issue. Either live with it or move on.

9 RepliesI’ve been getting matched against either a full squad or really good players in crucible. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not that great in crucible, but I’m trying to play more to up my skill level. When I’m getting matched against sweaty players or lag switchers, I’ve just accepted that I’m always going to suck at PvP.

This is bad feedback in kill feed. You should know all the sources (players) that hit you before dead. Im confused to a lot of times how did i die so quick but most of times i think is team shooting

The opposing team is probably lagswitching, or possibly trying to DoS your connection. Same thing was happening to me earlier when I played against some shady players (all running the meta, of course).
