I was just looking for a kinetic sidearm because to be honest I can't look at another hand cannon for a while. So I browse through my collections to see what's available and I can only find three, two of which are Y1 kinetic sidearms. So the only thing I have available is Smuggler's Word... seriously? Did I miss something? How can there be only one year 2 kinetic sidearm? If I'm missing something please let me know.

10 RepliesEdited by Chazaryx: 2/8/2019 3:24:23 AMI just wanna know what questionable substance they were inhaling when they put "shoot from the hip" perks on snipers.... *Edit: the fact this got 15 likes is very telling

2 RepliesEdited by blade329: 2/7/2019 11:17:02 PMWhile the loot has improved big time over what we got at launch, it's still not quite as good as the D1 stuff. D1 perks were better too. Luck in the Chamber, Clown Cartridge, Crowd Control, Grenadier, Hidden Hand, Icarus, etc. Where did they go? Another fail by Bungie thinking the casual player loves crappy perks and less perks. They weakened/removed perks so it would fit better in that garbage mode known as PvP. Yeah, that sure made everyone happy. This is the same group of developers that thought waiting 6 minutes for a super was totally acceptable. LOL.

Make year 1 weapons relevant and.... Problem solved.
-
Armor before forsaken is useless and they won't change that sadly

1 ReplyA shooter-looter where 80% of the loot is trash because it either doesn't fit the meta, is outdated, or is simply underpowered. The worst thing is all the obsolete year 1 items that offer little to no perks and dont even support the current mod system. Why not just take them out of the pool or update them all to Forsaken versions? Bungo also needs to get rid of the damn enhancement core system. Sure, they aren't hard to acquire necessarily but the cost to upgrade items is far too expensive and the results are barely worth it especially when most of us are expected to carry multiple gear sets and loadouts just to stay competitive.

2 Repliesrandom rolls killed Destiny 2. change my mind.

I need an expansion that introduces more EP weapons (IKELOS AR, IKELOS FR, IKELOS PR) and adds a Raid that takes place across the Wall around Rasputin's Core, that ends with a showdown against Ur.

Edited by VEXTERMINATOR-btd203: 2/8/2019 3:36:09 PMI was just thinking about something that Diablo 3 does that could help things. In Diablo 3, they have different quality variants of gear and weapons. Normal, Ancient and Primal Ancient which increase base stats that take you to the next level. Adding two or three different quality variants for weapons and armor add more life to the grind. As of now, if I get a perfect roll on something, I don't really have to grind for it on another toon, I just keep trading it between characters with my vault. This would create truly coveted items.

8 RepliesI like how Bungie claimed there was 2000 "new items" that were going to be added to Forsaken. What they didn't say was, most of it was going to be shaders and material.
Lol...
3 Replieswe have LITERALLY no kinetic lightweight/rapid fire scout rifles

4 RepliesEdited by DarkOverlord_9: 2/7/2019 9:53:03 AMThe loot pool really is shallow. On guns, all that matters are the Outlaw, Feeding Frenzy, Kill Clip, & Rampage Perks. The others are mediocre. On armor, most none-enhance perks are useless, especially the primary finder & any primary scavenger/reserves perks. It is pathetic they add those to begin with. On sparrows, all perks aside from instant-summon & all speeds below 160 are trash, & bungie knows this. Ghosts, only guiding light matters. Rest of perks are garbage. This game has the most pathetic loot pool in the world, & bungie is doing absolutely nothing to change that.

Well i can safely say you aint going to drown in the boring ass loot that's for sure
-
it is pretty shallow. For the raid weapons, besides one thousand voices, anarchy, threat level, supremacy, and maybe the curated nations of the beast as well as no feelings, what else is there? that's about 6-7 weapons in 2 raids combined. then black armory brought...hc, lmg, pulse, sword, and sniper. i personally enjoy raiding so the loot is less of an issue, but the amount of new weapons added seems small. I guess it's good that they're adding back the y1 weapons, but what frustrates me more is that some are locked behind gunsmith parts. considering it takes 100 parts for a weapon, it's about...100 blues or 33 legendaries ground up for a single gun. i spent 2000+ gunsmith parts to try to get a decently rolled erentil and got two with crap rolls that are worse than the y1 version. not the ideal version of a weapon grind and I can only picture it getting worse as they keep shoving other weapons into that pool instead of spreading it out to different vendors.

Can I get not forgotten to drop :( I really don't want to keep grinding comp. It's really ruining my life no joke.
-
Shallow? No. Dilluted? Absolutely! Here we are, grinding for what we want, only we end up with duplicates and/or junk perks. I actually want the emotes, Eververse, not the same fronking ornamental armors 6 times in a row!
-
Yeah without a doubt it’s too small and to generic . I had really expected black armory to change this but nope. A handful of legendaries and an armor set . Bungie just can’t find a balance with good guns in the loot pool. For the first time in a loot based game I have nothing left to hunt for . I’m still hunting for guns in borderlands 2 , the division. Destiny 2 - got it all. Got all the top tier rolls on all the unique weapons. Nothing left . Kinda sad

Edited by 10mm Socket (Timelost): 2/8/2019 7:18:54 PMYes, in all honesty I was seriously disappointed when the first DLC didn't add "ALL" new Vendor Weapons/Armor. Now we're 4 DLC in and Devrim still offers the same Auto Rifle from almost a year and a half ago. This isn't what we meant when we said that we wanted year 1 weapons to be relevant in year 2, we wanted Updated Random rolled versions to exist as well.
-
Shallow and low effort.

15 RepliesWhoever said no?
Lol, thank you for the laugh :)
1 ReplyMost perks suck. Multiple weapon types suck. Most exotic weapons and armor suck. Plenty of things that need buffing.
-
I’m sick and tired of playing in the kiddies pool I want to find The deep end so I can drown myself in loot ....... STUPID BUNGIE😡
-
2 RepliesIt’s not shallow, just all locked behind raids
-
I was considering this but we have plenty of loot. The problem is any loot is good enough, but it D1 there was really only two sources of good loot: Raids and Trials. With there only two sources of good loot it restricted the amount of good loot available; as a result, loot felt more valuable.
-
I dont feel that the loot pool is shallow, but more of the rng is a little too slow right now
-
This was already decided 2 weeks after launch......YES.
