It's an easy fix! People get to use more of what they want to use at a lower price and Bungie keeps their enhancement cores.
Simple as that!

16 RepliesEdited by Polanski187: 2/7/2019 2:48:35 AMStep 1 - go see spider Step 2 - spend 300 shards on Simulation seeds ( will give you 1500 ) Step 3 - go see the Illuminati all seeing eye on Mercury, exchange your materials Step 4 - rinse and repeat !!! I use this method to farm Gun Smith materials, not only do i get enhancement cores, but also mod components, glimmer, the best of it all, i sometimes get all my shards back from dismantling all the weapons and armor ( best of it all, all his shaders = shards ) 50 a pack ! Step 5 - STOP COMPLAINING !!! Step 6 - let me know how it goes for you.

1 ReplyWhy one of the rarest materials in the game is needed to infused purple gear is beyond me. If it was masterworked purple gear or exotics yea ok I can understand needing cores but regular non-worked purple gear is stupid.
-
Or they can issue you more like they said they were going to do.
-
I have almost 400 cores just from buying 3 from spider everyday and whatever I get from dismantling gear....they arent that rare
-
1 ReplyWeather we wanted to or not been stepped into a war with Bungie on the mwc issue but with the constant posts we can annoy their arrogant a$$3$ and break their grip on this crappy infusion system
-
It honestly is the biggest problem with the game right now. I’ve REALLY been moving on to other titles lately, but then I think, “Oh, I’ll jump in and play some Destiny! Sounds fun!” Play some milestones, get more max light gear, go to infuse some old pieces for alternate fun, different builds and then...NOPE. Out of cores buddy! Immediate game flow kill. They need to be taken off infusion. No one should be “poor” when they reach endgame, which is where most people still playing are. At least lower them to one per legendary and two per exotic. Also, might I suggest that dismantling one piece of max light gear give you an automatic core? You’ve obviously reached endgame, and it would reward you for completing your milestones.

17 RepliesI bet this thread has at least 100 snowflakes in it who still try and defend cores.
-
or how about they add infusion cores to all activies like Strikes give you 3 or 4 cores per strike with a max of 5 strikes you can complete per week to get cores, 7 cores for nightfall, 3 cores per story mission, Raid gives you 10 cores per encounter, Ascendant challenge gives you 8 cores, blind well gives you 6 cores per plauge of the well bounty, public events give you 1 core for regular or 2 if you make it heroic, lost sectors give you 3 cores per completion things like that would remedy the core problem we have
-
2 RepliesI still don’t even like this. The problem to me is getting cores not even the cost really. I don’t want to have to spend an hour in patrols to just get two or three cores. And then have this ridiculous price doubling to purchase from spider. It’s like who even thought of that!?
-
This seems like a reasonable solution to be fair. I don't have a problem with cores myself but recognise there are circumstances where players have crippled their progress by misuse, poor RNG or skipping content that would otherwise supply them. This could help them get further without making the effort I've made seem pointless.

1 ReplyIf infusion only cost 1 core in addition to the other costs, i may be ok with them.
-
2 RepliesBring back the masterwork perk re-roll!
-
Lower the cost to half baby yeah wohoo
-
I just wasted all mine trying to get range master work on ikelos about 50 and still no change
-
106 RepliesYou kids are so sad. Play the game more and you get more cores, simple logic. There are methods that get you 50-80 per hour
-
17 RepliesNo. Fine how it is Very easy to get and stockpile cores. Play the game.
-
It wouldn't hurt anyone, and you could finally use cores for what they were originally intended to do. Don't know why they won't, but it's not like Bungie cares about being constantly at war with their playerbase.
-
Nothing in this game matters seeing as our gear is consistently invalidated and those who think their sh*t will carry over to a new game are sadly -blam!-. Without a transmog system and more conventional rpg elements this series will always be a carrot on the stick, hell even now what does hitting 650 do for us? Theres no content specifically tied to being maxed, theres no challenges requiring us to be maxed 650vs600 in IB is no different than 650vs650 and even Datto just released a video touching on some of these issues. Destiny is a well made shooting game but in every other aspect it's flawed and boring.
-
Dude, It's sooooooo easy getting masterbate cores. Just play non stop, do the bounties and breakdown every drop you get. every day just grind grind grind. After about a year... Boom! 4 MW cores. Easy as pie.

1 ReplyAll the people who have “plenty of cores” are going to feel real bad when D3 comes out and resets everything again and all your D2 grinding/stockpile mean nothing. Who’s ready to pay for the chance to get mida multi tool a third time!!!
-
Instead of respecting your time, bungie just wants to steal it.

4 RepliesEdited by ScottF 2112: 2/6/2019 3:11:55 PMHmmm... "Power leveling is going to get a lot harder during Season of the Drifter". That might be the way to get everyone to quit complaining about cores, just give us new stuff to be mad about https://www.polygon.com/2019/2/1/18206923/destiny-2-exotic-catalyst-clan-bounty-raid-keys

MW core drop rate buff it’s get better

6 RepliesI honestly don’t know what type of person complains about cores. Hardcore players should have tons as they play a lot, so no need to complain Casuals wouldn’t care or they only need to level up a couple weapons every now and then which is easy enough as Spider sells cores, 14 a week is enough for a full weapon. The only people that complain I feel are those that feel the need to Masterwork 5 sets of armor per character and every gun they have in the vault.
