Cursebreaker grind is ridiculous.
Cool. So glad I have to wait yet another 3 weeks to make an attempt at getting my Cursebreaker title. I’ve ran shattered throne on all 3 characters every single time it came around and STILL don’t have the drop. I’ve even solo’d the the dungeon. Am I the only one that see’s this as just down right ridiculous? The RNG for the ship, ghost and sparrow seriously needs to be tweaked. As that’s what? 4-5 MONTHS of chasing after it? That’s a long time... A lot of dedication, for absolutely nothing. You’d think by now, after dedicating that much time to getting it, that one would have been rewarded. But no. I mean we’re almost 2 DLC’s past when the titles were released. It’s reaching a point of irrelevance. Make the the chances for the items to drop higher, or hell, make it to where the more you complete the activities the higher chance you have to get the drops. As grinding months and months and months is just wayy to much for a word under your gamertag... and yeah I get I can just give up, but I’ve already put in this much time and effort that the option of quitting isn’t on the table at all. Bungie, for the love of god do something about this.

5 RepliesBruh it’s not the shattered throne that gives u the damn ship it just has a higher chance than the others....I’ve had friends who got it from missions and Ascendent challenges and who cares about titles anyways they ain’t worth it and no one will care lmao

2 RepliesQuitting is an option. Learn to cut your losses and use your time and energy for more productive/rewarding gameplay. Because in a few months when your still chasing it, you’ll kick yourself. Titles are useless.

Yes the rng sucks. I find it rather ironic though. As I am in the same boat. I have all badges to the point were I am 1 or 2 away. And you know what I'm missing. Shattered throne ship, Dreaming city ghost and sparrow, Gambit ship, and rocket launcher. You know the rng stuff. The irony comes in when I think, what will happen when I get those pieces. Is it the only thing keeping me here til Jokers Wild? If so, then Bungie is just kinda doing its job insuring I will keep playing by keeping those items at bay. At the same time, it's seems rude to put me in a cycle of insanity like the dreaming city. Dangling a carrot in front of my face as I'm starving, while letting me know that I will only eat if you let me. Maybe we are just a consequence of our own success.

Bungie are never gonna do shit for the old content. Its all gonna stayed -blam!-ed up. Cause the give a shit only about the new dlc we are gonna pay and once they are out for them those dlcs are not in the game.

Loved collecting and grimoire in D1. In D2 I couldn't care less about most of it with so much rng required for too many things.

5 RepliesAll seals with drops in them are pathetic and a waste of time I've been so close to getting dregden since the meatballs first dropped as I did get lucky and do malfeasance pretty much same day of release but I'm waiting on the damn ship. I've had meatball no end of times and I've not lost to the other team yet when I have the meatball so they are all successive runs with it but no damn ship. I looked at others and see rng involved and pretty said nope bye Felicia now I just do what I want to pass the time and if I get lucky with the ship in gambit happy days if not then forget I ain't going to grind for it anymore

I’ve unlocked Rivensbane, Dredgen, Blacksmith, and could get Cursebreaker if i bothered to get the eggs and bones..... So i guess i’m one of the lucky ones when it comes to the loot that is required to get the titles, but i still think some sort of ”bad luck prevention” should be in place here so that your chances of getting the loot increase the more times you complete an activity.

2 RepliesHey, I grind 8 months for gjallarhorn in D1, never get it (till Xûr). And not only 3x all 3 weeks... Can you please stop complaining about RNG? Destiny is RNG, it has always been... Just for info, I got the ship yesterday (and cursebreaker), it was at first part. I was surprised, I thought it was a endboss drop.
