The point of exotics are that theyre so powerful only 1 of each can be used at a time, if this was added theyd have to either make exotic armors weaker, which defeats the purpose, or make it so only curtain exptics could be paired.

really ?... no the point of exotics is that they change gameplay... im asking to be able to mix that up... id also like to be able to pick n mix sub class perks... also your "Mask of the third eye+ anything else" dosent work cus mask is OP on its own if anything pairing it with another exotic might hurt how well it does.

Youre looking at this in a macro scale. the game population extends past just you or your friends, give people the ability to use multiple exotics and theyll abuse it. Pairing up exotics, on top of being game breaking, means that exotics will have to be weaker. Third eye plus stand asides.

i think you missed the point of the post... this ability would be locked behind completing something like a maxed out heroic nightfall or a prestige raid so only 5% of the player base... also i have no friends.

Yea that wouldnt make it any better... player base around 300000, 5% would be around 15000 people. Which would piss off the other 95% of the community. Also, i doubt that any event with a reward like the one your suggesting would only have a 5% clear rate. People would buy carries, account share, ect. To get it.

Well yea, that is sort of the nature of loot and shoot games, especially when they have a leveling system, you have to constantly make stronger weapons and armor and in a multiplayer setting, that will be abused.

Edited by Vale: 1/13/2019 11:09:59 PMdestiny is the only loot shooter that suffers from this... yes this is in boarderlands but that game dosent suffer from it because its not pvp based it leans 99% to pve so it dosent pinch the player with power creep... also the player base is down to 15k right now and thats down by 42% since the launch of forsaken and down 160% from the launch of the game... thats 80k people that arnt coming back so i say -blam!- balance lets have fun before the ship fully sinks

Edited by Vale: 1/13/2019 11:03:44 PMimagine how stupid those people would feel after spending $500 just for luna then bungie adds a gun that you can earn like you did with redrixs claymore and its a re painted version of the not forgotten... that would be awesome except that quest would have to be like 5x more grindy then the redrix...and infact just make like 20 guns on the same level as luna in their own ways and have them be quest weapons/master works and such from all the vendors.
