The new no skill meta combo
Luna/NF paired with dust rock blues and thunderlord, along with rocking Blade Barrage, Nova warp or hammers along with it.
You have no skill if you are like this, change my mind.

As someone who owns a Not Forgotten. It was no easy journey, I had to endure the true meta in competitive. Destiny at it's peak annoyance, Rotating to heavy spawns to spam wardcliff shots cause the other team sure as hell will, Dying to telestos in survival, And so on. I can definitely say NF took a fair amount of skill to achieve, But I'm not too sure how I feel about Lunas.

3 RepliesPfft. Every meta we go through this. The meta is counterable. Pulses, scouts, sidearms. Explore these with subclass experimentation. If you can't overcome the meta you have no skill. No, you know what, let's not bait the troll. Everyone has skill. Certain builds and gear paired with powerful weapons give an edge, but, again, this edge can be overcome. Don't lash out with "No skill" or "get good," experiment with your load outs and your gear.

Luna’s and nf are far from no skill weapons, you actually have to be moderately skilled in order to get them in the first place. Dust rock is pretty easy to use but so is literally every other shotgun. And the heavy you have that completely wrong, everyone knows coil is the no skill heavy. And how is your super preference a measure of skill? People who want to win will choose the best supers that will assist with that, personally if it isn’t mayhem I use spectral because it does everything I need it to.

2 RepliesIt’s called counter attack. Figure out a strategy instead of just running around trying to get kills. Radar in my opinion needs to be tweaked or taken out all together. Reason being players just run around because they can see their opponent from 3 miles away Change Make it to where you don’t see your opponent on radar until they fire a weapon same for them to see you. The cool down for you to disappear of the radar after shooting is 15 seconds Just an idea.

1 ReplyI disagree with part of what you're saying. It takes a fair amount of skill to get Luna/NF. How easy are they to use? I don't know. I don't have either. They both seem pretty powerful. As for DRB, adjust your play style to not get aped. Once I see a shotgun ape running around, I slow down and play more cautiously. My problem is, I get bored and stop being patient. That gets me killed. Telesto is a bigger pain in the ass than either Luna's or NF, IMO.

I mean, anyone that argues against this is fooling themselves. There is a reason EVERYONE is using them, because they are easy mode. Luna and not forgotten out class every single hand cannon In the game, you may as well just assume you are handicapping yourself if you decide to use any other hand cannon. Shotguns are mindless, skilless, noob machines designed for people that want the literal bottom of the barrel skill weapon, ease of use being so easy that a thumb less child with down syndrome could top the leaderboards with them. In short, OP is right, you are a pansy if you primarily use these weapons and if you use them constantly in quickplay, you are literal human garbage. Adding to the problem, isnt going to fix the problem, not like it matters, because 90% of you are abusing these weapons and trying to defend it as if to say you could do just as well without them(which we all know is a lie).

It seems to me like people who complain about Luna/NF don't have it, it does require skill to obtain those said weapons, If you have such a problem with Thunderlord try rushing it with a shotty, easy counter for LMGs, Nova Warp and Blade Barrage are obnoxious, but Hammers doesn't even come close to tie-ing with those... [spoiler]not included in the DLC[/spoiler]
