Sick of looking like a trash can with graffiti when levelling up why cannot we just need glimmer and legendary shards to infuse armour? Dumping the need for enchantment cores would not have that big an effect
-
I agree, but I also like the idea of “enchantment” cores.😉

Just get the fullest for all the powerful activities (vanguard, gambit, crucible, scatterhorn, prodigal, tangled web, reverie, raid) get a piece and just infuse into your more preferred piece of the set. You'll at least have good armor perks as you level. This also ONLY costs 5000 glimmer to infuse with. It'll save on cores as you level you'll accumulate quite the handful when you aren't using them and then next thing you know you will be at or almost at max and then you have all these cores to infuse your favorite armor up and claw your way out of that leveling cacoon looking the same as before but stronger.

4 RepliesEdited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 12/15/2018 3:06:53 PMYou are leveling. You won't look like a trash can as soon as you hit 650..... welllll you still may depending on what you think looks dope 😂

5 RepliesSomeone is defending their pet idea, and can’t admit that it failed. Badly.

transmog would fix it 100%

I wore my current loadout and just horded powerful gear, infusing it when I had enough cores and materials. You get to retain you individuality, but itll take some time to level. Another thing you can do is buy exotics from the collections and infuse them into your armor giving you a slight bump in light
-
its not like infusion was for free anyways, if you did not pay attention you would run out of resources. now its become a very special thing only available to the rich guardian. also the price to masterwork a gun is ridiculous. in year one i could masterwork my stuff the way i wanted. now its impossible to get enough cores in a season to update your main gear in time before the next season starts and you look for new gear. it has become a novelty and is no longer an upgrade for your equipment...
-
8 RepliesCores should only be used for masterworking gear.
-
simple fix. give us an Either or Scenario. 1) - Glimmer. 2) - Shards and Glimmer. 3) - Shards, Glimmer, & Planetary Material. I hit Max Cap on Glimmer Weekly. so for people with an abundance of Glimmer, not having the need to spend other resources, this would be great.
-
1 ReplyRight! Need a better way to earn legendary shards, also.
-
Fix it bump
-
That would be so perfect! I could actually use the weapons and armor that I want.

Edited by Calevis24: 12/14/2018 4:55:45 AMI get all my enchantment cores in the Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Have you tried looking there? 😉
i actually agree with u 😎

Sick of looking like a trash can with graffiti when levelling up why cannot we just need glimmer and legendary shards to infuse armour? I know this is gonna trigger the try hardest so bad that their parents will hear their squeals of anger shaking the 1st room floors. Yea materials are ok and you can get good quantities of them, but that's extra time I could spend doing more important shit.
-
Yes. Yes. So much yes.
-
7 RepliesGetting materials from the planets is fine and you can literally buy them from spider bungie just needs to remove the cores from infusion
-
1 ReplyYeah, it's pretty stupid. Essentially timegating simply using gear you like behind endgame or incredibly occasional infusions is absurd. Unless they also added layered aesthetics to compensate, it's a whole lot of nonsense, especially when most armour in D2 looks like plastic toys thrown on you by someone who ran through a Party City clearance secrion while hopped up on speed.
-
Cuz how dare you want to reasonably progress in the game in gear you like. How DARE you want to have fun with fun guns and gear before you've done the raid! That's ridiculous! No, you have to start from scratch with reskinned blues for the next 40 hours of needless, stupid grinding for those ten sidearms in a row! Seriously, the arguments against removing cores are all asinine.

Edited by l HyperLethal l: 12/14/2018 4:38:02 PMInfusion was fine as it was before. Now it's shit. Why infusion? Masterworks I'd get. But level progression? Seriously?
-
9 RepliesFunny thing is the infusion system for D1 was just glimmer and legendary marks and planetary materials but that was perfect it was a fine way to infuse why stray from that ill never know
-
1 ReplyYeh mate its a Joke, I still cant believe they haven't changed this, everyone has been saying this for ages and they still wont listen. They need to stop being so stubborn about it. Enhancement cores should only be used to masterwork your armour. you already earned the light level and gear you shouldn't need to go and grind for cores just to look a certain way. The whole point of infusion to begin with was so you can look different because everyone used to look the same when the end game came about or the looked like trash.
-
2 RepliesBecause this was their answer to making infusion more meaningful, by wasting everything you just earned. Even worse for new guys
-
1 ReplyEdited by Sondead: 12/15/2018 3:31:07 AMOoo don't forget to save cores you only use 1 set of weapons for all 3 characters, then spend 1/3rd of your time trying to land @ the tower just to pick up those guns. And yes, the farm landing is just as bad.
-
2 RepliesNot only that, but why doesn't legendary gear drop AT your light level, instead of 20 light below? All the gear you get just playing the game that isn't from some decided reward spreadsheet HAS to be infused or you're playing at a handicap if you want to switch to a new piece with great rolls that you were lucky enough to get DURING an activity. I am sick and tired of being coerced, not encouraged, to grind more because they want to artificially increase playtime by forcing in more busywork. If every item I got was at least at light level and immediately equipable I would be ENCOURAGED to play because everything I get is potentially useful or better than what I have. Instead, I'm COERCED into grinding more because that god roll ether doctor I just got has to be infused and I've got to grind the same old shit to get the ghost fragments to get the bounties so I can grind the same old shit to get the enhancement cores to bring up the weapon's light level.

1 ReplyEdited by Fort: 12/15/2018 3:59:01 AMEnhancement cores drop like candy, there really ain’t an economy problem anymore. I struggle more with planetary materials than I do with cores.
-
Yes I want to masterwork armor and weapons but instead I have to spend it infusing my favorite gear. Masterwork/enhancement cores need to go from infusion. Or at least adjust the cost to only 1 core no matter the weapon/armor type (exotic/legendary). Right now the cost is too high and is just super annoying.
